Here are some more pictures of the M1134 Stryker. Some of these you've seen before and other pictures of this release you haven't.

I think it's great how about you? I haven't seen anyone anywhere produce this version of the Stryker.

Wayne, it looks like it's solid inside based on the blanked off rear etc.

Figarti is the only manufacturer that got heavily involved with modern stuff. I have every last piece. I will be getting all of the new stuff also. Then I thought....It is too bad that the old stuff is 1/32.......Well I guess Rick will have to do an extensive line of new modern soldiers.

Back to the old....they were produced a while back, when detail wasn't as good as it is today. Yet in this case, they were exceptional compared to figures of the time. Maybe we can blend them in with the new 1/30th stuff....I hope so.....Carlos you are a master blender....what do you think ?

I dunno, there's way too much modern stuff on the market, so I may give this a miss.

Ooo...hang on, actually I think I might just neeeed this. Which may come as a bit of a surprise:rolleyes: :)

Right after you've picked up Otto, his frends, and his preferred form of transport. :p

Difficult to say. For me, I'll mix them because the final test is that I'm the one that looks at them 99.99% not others. I prefer accuracy but these dioramas are also to entertain and educate the occasional vistor and mixing will be just fine in my book.

I don't know if you guys are aware the US Army is holding a competition for the new GROUND COMBAT VEHICLE (GCV) right now.

KMW is teamed with Boeing and SAIC to produce the new GCV.

Although the final design cannot be disclosed - it has the technology of the PUMA - which is a KMW product that has just been sold to the German Army - delivery of PUMA's will begin in December 2010.

HEY - Rick - let's make some PUMA's too !! :D :D

Here are a couple of pics of the PUMA

I think the new stuff is 1/32 or are you talking about other new stuff - 1/32 is what is shown on the Figarti WEB site for the upcoming releases.

My Stryker just arrived, and it is exceptional. I prefer displaying it with the back hatch closed. I have mine next to an old Figarti Hum-Vee, with a space for my M1A1 Abrams prototype when it arrives.:)

If you get a chance can you post some picks. I originally thought these were 1/30 then from reading this thread I learned they were 1/32. I checked the website and sure enough they said 1/32. I really don't collect 1/32 but the abrams, 155 and stryker are really tempting. I know I'm gonna get at least one stryker for my cousin but I would like to see some pics to make the determination if I'm gonna get one as well.

Got mine yesterday- remarkable beast- just ugly, ugly ugly- which makes it so darn impressive!!

Admittedly, not an expert on this weapons system but it looks spot on- only issued I take, and it pains me to do this,- the bumper number reads 2-25 id 1-27 inf- the "25 ID" is the 25th Infantry Division, not the Second ID as worn by the crew members. The 25th ID is stationed in Schoffield barracks Hawaii.

I am happy to let that slide though- the 2ID was one of the original Stryker Brigade Combat teams and the SBCT's have undergone numerous renumbering over a short period of time.

I plan on ordering more of these bad boys!! Very very well done Figarti!! Now, stop messing about with the ships and get to work on that Bradley!! :D:D

Cracking piece isn't it? Have you picked up the Abrams yet?
