That is a stunning piece. Anyone interested in armour from WWII will definitely be interested in this. Bravo Figarti.

Based on the pre-orders that are pouring in I'd say there is definitely interest in North America! People have been asking for a Firefly from ANY company and it looks like Figarti has really delivered!

As far as I know the only dealer aware that this would be unveiled at the London show, was the European distributor who helped with the unveiling so we are surprised as all of you.
Mandi has a list for preorders and will get info on the website as soon as she finds out the details.

Best regards,

Are those very low in #s to, or do we need to panic over them as well?

The Figarti Firefly will go well with the #10 K&C British Sherman - exact same red and white numbers.

From the photos, the Firefly looks well made and strong with thick model armour - similar to their Panzer IV - stronger than the fragile Grant with it's thinner model armour

Hi All,
I'm glad to see all the UK "Froggers" were impressed with the new releases.
I will be posting the full story of the actual "Firefly" which was launched when my feet touch the ground again. There has been a lot of conjecture as to who actually "got" Wittmann but it now seems generally accepted in the official circles that it was trooper Joe Ekins acting as gunner in his first engagement during Operation Totalise.
So the model represents the tank named "Velkye Luki" 3 Troop,A squardron,1st Northampton Yeomanry,33rd Armoured Brigade.

I'm sure that should elicit some discussion.

Now to explain the "secrecy".

As there is still some time to the Chicago Show where no doubt Figarti will be unveiling yet more goodies I wanted to have a feel good factor for everyone leading upto the Summer holiday period.
Rick and the guys bust a gut to get these items ready and in fact I received them via courier 10 mins before we left home for the show.
I was as pleased as everyone else when I opened the boxes (only about 1/2 an hour before Rob showed up.)
Hence the limited numbers available. In fact the Winter 88 and prime mover are the 1st available so far.
As with the Winter Storches I took the decision to airmail these in which is high cost vs the normal sea freight hence the delay in general receipt by dealers.
And for IXEC the address is www.grey-goose.co.uk but you won't find photos yet, I haven't had chance to download any myself as yet.

All the Best
Clive
