Like with its modern Iraq line, Figarti dares to do themes that are seldom, if ever, done. At its lunch reception on Saturday, September 23rd (1 to 3 p.m.), Figarti will be introducing and launching a new 1/32 line that has not been done in the matte, realistic style. We also have other surprises which will shock and stun the industry. It will be done the "Figarti" way. It is the vision of its founder, James Wang, and we invite you to share his vision over lunch. Figarti is producing 60 special, limited edition figurines especially for participants of this lunch. With 35 RSVP's so far, we can only accomodate 25 more guests. RSVP on this forum, via e-mail, or at the show

Hi Rick,

Earlier I reserved two luncheon seats for my wife and I. I have since learned that one of my close collector friends, Compton Creel, will also be attending the OTSN show and he would like to attend the luncheon as well. Compton is not a member of the Treefrog forum and cannot reply directly to your invitation. He has asked me if I can reserve a luncheon seat for him. May I reserve a luncheon seat for Compton? He is very interested in Figarti figures and will, doubtless, make a few purchases.

Please let me know if a seat can be reserved for Compton.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

I always look forward to what Figarti does. However, a phrase "shock and stun the industry" does sound a bit like marketing speak so perhaps we should just let the figures speak for themselves. I'm looking forward to what participants at the luncheon have to say.

Wow, another surprise!!! With the surprises expected from Andy and the new products from Honour Bound, New Model Army, Frontline, East of India, and John Jenkins Design, this is going to be a terrific show!!!:D

It appears to be effective "marketing speak" since it got your attention.:D Anyway, I will be attending Figarti's reception and will post a report and pictures for everyone on Saturday (9/23) evening. Afterwards, feel free to post questions like at the West Coaster.:)

Steven,

You're right about that! It did get to my attention. The one good thing about Figarti (and this is not intended to slight any other manufacturer) is that Figarti does deliver the goods so I am very interested to see what they will be announcing. I don't know about the industry but maybe I will be shocked and stunned.

Looking forward to your report.

Hi Brad,

My copy editior (Consultant) wrote this for me (I actually like it because the word "Surprise" has been overused lately), but I do hope to show you something "Very Different"!

For those of us who live across the great pond and can't make the show, will you be putting your future releases on your website soon after the show?

Hi Rob,

If we do things right, we will have a show report posted on our website during the show and hopefully have some photos. But from reading the forum, I think Steven Chong will be updating everyone with photos from the show.

Dear Rob,
I plan on posting a report and pictures from Figarti's reception on Saturday evening, and I will make sure I have pictures of all their new releases. Let's see if we all will be "shocked and stunned.":)

Rick,

I had previously stated that I would be attending the OTSN and took you up on your invitation. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend. That gives you another seat to fill and I have no doubt it will be filled quickly.

It seems that I will be missing a very special show this year with your preshow tid-bits.:(

Michael,

We will miss you at the show, but will try to keep you informed with update reports from the show.

I just received my first Figarti products. Wow how come you guys never told me they make the absolute best tanks. Metal and real treads, it doesn't get any better. I can't imagine what they will come up with at their Chicago unveiling. Firebat

What did you get. I have the Honey and it's absolutely first rate.

The Japanese tank and the US Stewart. They really blew me away, they didn't seem as nice in the pictures. They give me a sense of an antique made many years ago. Firebat
