Figarti Room Chicago Photos (1 Viewer)

Terry,
Thanks for posting Brad's pics, and Brad, thanks for shooting them! Great stuff! I'm really liking that Panther, and the estimated price makes it even more intriguing.

Did I see a Meiller wagen on the box of the V2 rocket?

Finally. I think the Panzer IV versions have run their course. I just hope Figarti did not miser on the quality in order to be able to compete with TCS.

Looking at this version, I doubt there's any competition involved. Figarti's version looks like a winner across the board....

That belonged to Hobby Bunker. They can probably tell you.

Brad

its a reenforced conte beau geste fort with 300 hand painted in sri lanka plastic figures. hobby bunker wants $2500 for it, the person that owned it spent near $3500 on it. i know this because i was very close to buying it but there were actually trophy figures at the show so thats where my dollars went. i would highly reccomend buying it and no i don't work for hobby bunker. hell, i live in iowa

Good showing from Figarti this year at Chicago. $369 seems pretty reasonable for an aircraft as large as the B-25 Mitchell in this day and age as is the cost of the Tiger. That aside I think my favourite release from the show goes to Figarti. That Panther looks awesome. It really like the ambush camo scheme and wish more AFV's would be dressed up like that, it just works for me. I haven't picked up a Figarti piece since the British Firefly release and I regret not grabbing their Jagdpanzer IV awhile back however this Panther might be next. :salute::

On the Panther, only thing I would want them to add would be some shurzen, preferably with a couple panels missing. Barring that, at least add the shurzen mounting bars that run down the side of the hull, so the front fender overhang of the tracks wouldn't stand out so much.

Agree, Some battle damaged panels and missing fenders exposing the tracks would be a nice touch... faded paint with some good weathering would make this a sweet model....Not too bad as it is....I hope there will be a winter version.

To be honest I like the tank the way it is , people moan about prices going up but they will do if you keep wanting all these extras .

I agree...One thing for sure not needed in this hobby is "more price increases"....We've all had enough of that...But it doesn't hurt "to ask" if it can be done at a fair and reasonable price.....Best Frank

I'm all for keeping price reasonable, but can't see how adding a few shurzen panels to the Panther would drive up price. It's not like a Panzer IV that requires an intricate (and delicate on a model) mounting system. Figarti would just have to add the shurzen mounting rail and say two spaced panels on each side to give it that used look. The panels could easily be attached firmly to the hull.

Not a deal breaker though, as the detail and paint look great. Since its a prototype figured I'd put in a shurzen plug prior to the design being finalized. I do like what Firgarti seems to be doing with price, as its the one thing that has kept me from buying a lot of their vehicles.

I think it would cost more to add shurzen to be honest but if that easy you could always add them yourself and for me it the best panther out there at the moment , look how sharp the tracks are and it got none of the problem that the CS panther G has :wink2:
