Firebat,
Very well done and composed, so do you tear down your sets after your shoots or is your basement full of this stuff?
Ray
My basement is a nightmare........It was supposed to house my collection consisting of displays, which would involve large, medium, small and shelf Dioramas. Now it is filled with buckets of Model Railroad Scenic materials, real dirt, sand, twigs, rocks, foam forms, Trees made by Nick, Buildings made by Nick, Bridges made by Nick, buildings and scenic accessories I made, Manufacturers buildings and accessories, and of course soldiers and vehicles from many manufacturers.
The Battle Scene Production Studio is 15' by 40' and has has 4 - 4'X8' stages and 2- 4'X2' Stages. I have purchased a professional lighting set (The lights with the umbrellas) which take up a lot of room. Then there is a 20' X 10' workshop (All of my soldiers and vehicles are somewhat displayed there) and a 10' X 10' dirty construction area. Everything except for the dirty area will eventually become my 'Museum" after things level off a bit.
It is funny you asked the question as to what is left standing. So far it is this Diorama, and the P47 Diorama, which is part of a large 4'X8' Airfield, which will be shown in a Diorama, in the near future. I will come back and do final Dioramas for myself with the knowledge I have gained as I move into retirement. Of course I have a photo record of everything that we ever did and I hope to re do them even better when I do them for my future display room. Alex
