Very nice work Alex--I love a dio that tells a story.

Nice meeting you and Nick (Morbshock) at the New Jersey show this weekend.

Same here, I wish we had more time to talk............ Well there is always Chicago.............. We try our best to make all of our Dioramas tell a story, but sometimes the figures we need are not made. I hope the Manufacturers get more creative in the future and give us different and unique poses, more in the vein of behind the lines activities. Alex

It was nice meeting you Firebat. I am sorry I seemed so out of it, I was running on less than three hours sleep a night for three nights running. I passed out at the lunch Andy sponsored (that's the photo Brian wants my permission to post).

Although short, it was fun.........I am working on a P40 Diorama for Figarti, it should be done in a week or so......I know you are an aircraft guy...Can't wait to see those clear canopy K&C pieces in person. Alex

I can't wait to see the Figarti P40 Diorama. I also loved the factory diorama. Really clever idea.

We are always looking for new ideas, please try to get Andy to do some more casual poses like the 101st guys with the wine bottles and the flag. I am working on Rick also. That type of stuff makes for great displays. Alex

That was a pretty unique Diorama. Rick said to me how can you best display our Tigers, and that is what I came up with............

I am looking forward to seeing the P-40 come alive!

Alive....Alive......It is Alive...............Is that quote from the movie Young Frankenstein:D Alex

As Dr. Frederick Frankenstein and Inga met Frau Blücher (loud horse whinne) and Igor for the first time, Young Dr. Frankenstein sees the front door (as he is lifting Inga from the carrage) and complements Frau Blücher’ (loud horse whinne) door. “Nice knockers.”

Absolute genius! Did you know that the concept and the screenplay were both the brainchild of Gene Wilder, who approached Mel Brooks with the idea during the filming of Blazing Saddles? Mel, knowing funny, immediately optioned the project, and the rest is (very funny) movie history. For my money, "Young Frankenstein", "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and the original version of "The Inlaws" with Peter Falk and Allen Arkin are the three funniest movies ever made.

A good laugh is worth its weight in gold and Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder have made me a very wealthy man. Blazing Saddles was the first movie that I actually laughted myself out of my seat on to the floor (when Mongo punched out the horse). The fireside bean eating was the tops too; along with all the other lines in the movie.

Can we have some more beans Mr. Taggert?

I think you boys have had enough!

Those were the good old days when comedy shows didn't have to worry about political correctness. My favourite commedies are: "The Life of Brian", "The Holy Grail", and "History of the World". Some good tv shows from years ago are: "Dad's Army", "Benny Hill"and "F-Troop".

I've seen Dad's Army on PBS a few years ago, very funny show, and we still get Benny Hill on BBC America and F-Troop on Nick at Night. I too lament the loss of our ability to laugh at what are now called incorrect. PC makes me sick.

But then again, as my old sweet old grandmother once told me when I was but an itty-bitty babe, on the front porch whilst she was gently rocking me to sleep in her loving caring arms as the sun set gently in the western sky with a pinkish-blue glow, "Michael," she said, "hush my sweet darling and always remember life is too short to take seriously, we never get out alive, now go to sleep.":) :)

"The Holy Grail" was GREAT comedy!!! I laughed my head off!!! But this was long time ago, like when all you guys were still young!!!:D

Rick, remember with age comes wisdom;) , and all the other nasty things mother nature seems to have such fun doing to the human body as it ages.:( Like memory something, what was I saying? Oh I can't remember, my hearing is bad, my hair fell out and my heart is failing. Oh what a wonder aging is. And you too my friend will face this monster, given enough time. :)
