Hey guys, I have purchased some nice ww2 figarti tanks and first legion figures..I think they fit well with the figarti. I know that KC figures and TGUNN don't go well with first legion at all. From my experience, FL goes well with w. britains and I'm not sure about figarti though. Does anyone know how FL matches with figarti figures? and for fl figures, which manufacture will fit scale wise KC vehicles or figarti ?

thanks

Being the last night light has been turned off at the Figarti factory, you may want to use another company to compare to. Put Figarti in the same category as Honor bound....
A thing of the past.

Newsflash to some: they're still in production, alive and kicking :wink2:

Figarti and Thomas Gunn Armor are true 1/30 scale and are compatable with current W. Britains and First Legion figures which are a measured 1/30 (60MM) size. Figarti and TG figures are 65 to 68mm size, the same as TCS and K&C. I hope this answers you question.

Not all Figarti armor is a true 1/30 scale. The Figarti Panzer IVs (BOth Normandy Ausf J and grey Ausf D) are closer to 1/28 scale and actually work better with K&C or Thomas Gunn figures.

The early Figarti Shermans were also a little larger and closer to 1/29 scale, although most think they look fine with FL figures.

The newer Figarti tanks like the steel wheeled command Tigers and the Panthers have been spot-on 1/30 scale.

yes very helpful.... thanks for the info. I wish they were more detailed on their scale. if FL is a true 1/30 scale then why doesn't KC advertise their figures as 1/28?

The Figarti Panther G, T34-85 and Jagdpanzer IV all measure a true 1/30 scale. I have my W. Britains 60mm Fallschirmjager next to the Jagdpanzer and the size match is perfect.

Re: figarti vs first legion how does figarti ETG-065 compare to FL figures?

Does anybody know how ETG-065 compares to w.britians and first legion figures? from my past experience , I've noticed that not all figarti figures are the same scale.

If Figarti is alive and kicking, I would hate to see what a non producing, non communicating company really looks like..........

I have asked the same question many times of both TCS and K&C. TCS contends to this day that their products are an accurate 1/30 scale and their figures are 60mm. I have the recently released George Patton figure and it measure 68mm with the base removed. The Sepp Dietrik figure with the removable base measures 69mm. The Arnhem Stug III measures 1/28 scale. TCS transitioned to 1/28 scale about when the Stug III was first released. The earlier Tiger I and Panther
circa 2008 were an accurate1/30 scale. I belive the reason for the size increase was to be compatable with the the large K&C figures. TCS has alienated customers by taking the position that TCS WWII figures and vehicles are 1/30 when many customers have measured them and proven this not to be true. The only thing a customer can do is return it if you order a 1/30 scale item and receive a 1/28 scale item. Enough returns may convince Toy Soldier manufacturers to produce what they say they are producing or change their labels to reflect reality!

This, combined with HR's observations about a few FIgarti vehicles not being true 1/30, have been my experience as well.

I was never crazy about KC and TGUNN figures, they look to bulky too my taste and not as detailed compared to FL figures . FL figures seem to have true realism , that's why their pricey. Very detailed oriented .

The early K&C and Figarti vehicles were 1/32; both companies changed to 1/30 about 2008. The Tunisian Tiger I was K&C's first 1/30 Panzer. TCS also chand scale at that time; but from 1/30 to 1/28 with the Arnhem Stug III. I would really like to know what motivated all these changes. A marketing ploy seems the only explanation!

I think several of the early K & C tanks were 1/30 but some then shrunk to 1/32 such as the Wittman Tiger; K & C said it was due in part to mold shrinkage but collectors had also complained. Hence, the Tunisian Tiger. Figarti changed to 1/30 because it saw that where the hobby was headed.
