I have a fair collection of Figarti AFV's many of which are "winter" versions"....I purchased 2 Figarti 1:32 scale tigers when they were released approx. 3-4 years ago......Will we see a Figarti 1:30 Winter Tiger???? Time will tell;)

The 1:32 Tigers have a full interior and crew which can be opened up to see the details. That is a unique model for me. The cost to make it today would be huge, so even a new 1:30 winter tiger without a complete interior would not tempt me.

I would hope they would. However, it would be hard to beat the Tigers from a few years ago. Probably the best tank ever made.

Totally agree. I have a Normandy one and it has so much detail it's almost untrue. All metal too. I'm surprised they weren't a bigger hit- maybe because they aren't 1/30?

Even "without" the interior detail of the 1:32 scale Tiger (which is an awsome tank)....It would still be a great project in 1:30 scale......And we all know how these would sell out quickly in the correct scale.

Cheers Frank:

This should give you something to think about.

Enjoy,
Marc

Imo the internal features of the highly detailed 1/32 Tiger were wasted as it is difficult to display the tank with the top etc removed. Sadly this seemed to limit it's appeal to collectors, and frankly it wasn't much larger than a 1/35 scale plastic kit.

I do hope they make a 1/30 scale Tiger but without all the internal extras.

In addition to a Winter version I would like to see Figarti issue a Wittman's Last Tiger
(#007) version in Normandy coloration.

And of course a Grey version for those early war devotees.

That's Three Tigers, that's not greedy is it ;) :D

3 Figarti Tigers......Let me think on this.......YES......Sounds very reasonable to me Oz;)....Now if we can get at least one...It would be a good start

You can never have enough German Tiger,s mate.

Ozdigger, Battlescene Productions made a dio of a tiger tank factory (I assume were Figarti tanks) showing various stages of the tank's construction. It was really cool. It was posted on the Forum maybe 1 or 2 years ago in the Diorama Section. Check it out.

I remember it well, but it wasn't the sort of thing most collectors could contruct.

Guys,
David at TM Terrain made me a great factory complex and I believe has done similar for others alsoat a reasonable price.
I'm pretty sure I posted photos under the TM Terrain or Figarti sections but can't find them at present.

Clive
