Fighting in the heart of Normandy... (1 Viewer)

For those of you who might have missed some of the images in this thread in the past, please take a look at some of our buildings and structures on these pages. Many can so so be used with most of the fine WWI products now available from several manufacturers.
Our French barn is featured in detail on the second page.
All the best,
Ken

Hi all,

I had been admiring the destroyed factory for some time and finally brought myself to ordering one (first H&A item although more along the line of the Eastern Front). It's a fantastic piece and I have it prominently displayed on a shelf with some of my King & Country Germans. I really like how the rubble inside the building affords the opportunity for placement of three figures in perfect proximity to the main window. One could always add some wooden beams or broken bricks for additional detail.

In any case, it's a very nice building and makes a great diorama piece.

Well done H&A!

EDIT/PS. I grew up playing with Marx toy soldiers and always liked their box sets as they contained figures, vehicles, and buildings/structures to create complete scenes and battles. Having this building with some figures creates some of that nostalgia for me, although this factory and metal toy soldiers takes one's collection to a much higher level - amazing detail that one only imagined as a child.
