P.S time for dad's army ?

If we're going to do TV characters as TS, then a 'must do' is the 1960's show "Combat" with Sgt. Saunders, Lt. Hanley, and the rest of the squad. Best war show ever made and had a unending cast of celebrity guest stars to supplement the regular characters. This line of figures could go for years. Of course, copyright might be a problem.:rolleyes2::wink2:^&grin -- Al

With a bomb that size cannot help thinking even that brick wall would not be much protection. Great set though with lot's of diorama possibilities. Thanks for sharing, cheers, Robin.

I have Trophy's "Dad's Army" set, and I would love it if K&C did one.:smile2:

A few years back I bought a 'Dads Army' set for my father for XMAS.

He doesn't collect toy soldiers but he loved the TV show and liked the fact it tied in with my hobby ie we shared a common interest of sorts.

I am positive it is not a Trophy Set as it was not very expensive, I bought it from England.

There are a number of cottage industries in England producing figures (or they used to be), but one thing was sure, the figures were very realistic and anyone who looks at them on his display shelf identifies straight away the 'Dads Army' team.

I guess there is no copy right so K&C way well open a whole new customer base!

Cheers

The B.B.C. might just argue with you about whether there is a copyright!^&grin

I would really like to see a Dads army set. I saw a set being advertised in a model mag I think last year and, they looked excellent so, copyright would be an issue but, probably not insurmountable. not war related but, a set of figures from only fools and horses would be a blast in metal 1/30th
