First of all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my friends and fellow collectors here on the forum.

So here comes 2013 and the very first of twelve new Dispatches. This time the field is wide open guys so what are you hoping for from this first edition and what might we expect to see do you think? Am looking forward to Arnhem this year but not sure if it will be this early???

Place your bets gentlemen and have a great 2013

Rob

I would guess January 2013 will have a few surprises but not too many allowing collectors to catch up from the Christmas purchases. Operation Market Garden In March ??? :rolleyes2:

Happy New Year Rob and my guess for the first 2013 new releases will be the AK Hanomag, 222 and Flak Gun as well as the gun crew and perhaps Andy will release some new AK troops, either combat versions or non combat versions as well. Either way, they will be welcome additions to my collection and i can't wait to get me hands on the Hanomag and 222!!!

And the same to you mate. I too am very much looking forward to this Hanomag and I do agree re the AK fighting poses, Andy has recently retired some of these figures and sometimes this is to make room for more so you could be right here Tom.

Happy new year Rob.... For 2013 I will live in eternal hope that maybe, just maybe some of the below may appear......:rolleyes2:

I have given up guessing as I never get it right, just keep saying the same thing over and over, Market Garden & Ancient Egypt. I know both are in the pipeline, but the pipeline is proving to be much longer than I imagined. Guess I will be right eventually if I live long enough. Cheers, Robin.

What is sadly lacking form the December release of the British Infantry at Crimea, is officers.

There is no one leading this 'rabble' so they need someone in charge, and something to 'rally around' so the COLOURS.

We shall see what 2013 brings.....

John

Happy new year Wayne, hope you get what you're after mate. Is that by any chance a 9.2inch artillery piece, man I would like one of them with full crew^&cool

Excellent pics Risorgemento, that ambulance looks like its been riddled with bullets, would make for an excellent release.

Rob

Regular opel maultiers, mark iv h for normandy, marder mid series for karkhov, opel blitz ambulance or radio vehicle, mobelwagen, 8th army sherman, and of course normandy fallschirmjager and throw in a little mixed german lot for arnhem.

If K&C go down an alternative (to the ALH) WW1 route then it is my heartfelt wish that they go "all in" rather than produce small stunted ranges like Cambrai. Having said that, some further Cambrai figures and tanks would be the ideal choice for me. Why not finish what was started?

Yes indeed Rob a fully crewed 9.2 inch gun I would love to see. I'll toss one more wish in here a honour guard for ANZAC day/ Remembrance day (Oz and British)I would like to see a set done.

Dear collectors:

I am hoping for American paratroopers fighting in and around the Normandy hedgerows. Perhaps Andy will surprise us with a British Comet tank! I would also love to see British commandos, German falshirmjaeger fighting in Normandy, and a P-51 Mustang in D-Day invasion stripes. Oh, and one more thing, a Tiger tank in ambush camouflage with zimmerit.

Alex :)

Nice pic Wayne.

I think with something as big as say a 9.2 inch is that it would make a fine stand alone scene with little need for many others.
