Can we not have flickstarter on the Napoleonic personalities. They seem to be highly sought after, with good reason

...seems to be a general reluctance from FL when it comes to reissuing figures. I never understood this since some figures like Wellington for instance will always sell...

I think it is because FL thrives to permanently improve sculpting. And after a couple of years, they just do not want to revisit these older sculpts as they might impact the quality perception of the brand. I tried to convince them to reissue older sculpts like the Wuertemberger Infantry, but no such luck.

I'd have to double check this, but the majority of the Napoleonic Mounted Personalities were released as limited edition Special Collector's Sets. It would be rather disingenuous of us to go back and produce more of something we said was limited to a certain sized production run.

Further, Andreas is right to some extent, but not just as it's related to sculpting. We are always trying to improve all elements of our figure productions, so a personality that was sold several years ago would be difficult for us to produce today to the same standard as the painting standard previously was far lower than what we do today. Many people ask us to produce Colbert again - if we did, the painting would be far better but the price would reflect that. But it's a non-starter as I know that one was a Special Collectors Set, so we won't produce it again.

Best,

Matt

This is my painted version of Colbert make by a FL kit. I win a bronze and silver medal in figure moelling show in Italy. I hope to buy other kit of napoleonic commander. RegardsImmagine 289.jpg:salute::

I completely agree with you....it makes no sense to me either as they would sell and could be re-released at current FL retail prices in the Flick-Starter program if there was sufficient product demand.... but.... ultimately it's FL decision....I was lucky enough to get on board early with the FL NAP personality figures....Lastly I would emphatically state that I would never pay the ridiculous secondary market prices for these "retired" :rolleyes2: FL NAP products

Beautifully Done:salute:::salute:.....At least the 60mm kits are still available.....Now collectors just need someone with the talent to assemble and paint it as you have done.

Beautiful job king59 and congratulations!
Thank you for sharing the photo.
