First Legion web site. (1 Viewer)

I think the only way is to lash out and buy some and then give a good or bad review on them. I will give this some thought over the Christmas break . Simmo.

Simmo,
I would think that after complaining for so long about not seeing them in the flesh it would be worth the piece of mind just to get together with some other guys from down under pull your resources and buy a figure . I don't understand the hold up. They are well researched , Finely Sculpted and Painted to level previous only available to collectors of figures in the Connoisseur Class . Happy Collecting Gebhard

I'm thinking about ordering my first ACW :)

Merry Christmas to all but without intentionally leaving anybody out, particularly to Gebhardt, Bill, Frank and Gazza :)

Best Christmas and Holiday wishes to all of you as well. May all your release wishes also be met in the new year, well, errr, after mine of course.:p;):D

I have always liked the sculpting and painting of First Legion. I just have not seen or touched one in person. It's alot of money for One figure so going in blind is very risky. Simmo.

Chris (Simmo) mate,
Interesting attempt to try a bit of Ockkerism to convert you to the Dark Side.
You better buy one mate and give it a first class review.:)
Cheers Howard

Simmo ,
If after being around as long as you have and having visited First Legions site . Plus after seeing the pictures of the best diorama makers and photographers on the Forum like Frank ( fmethorst ) Artmabigor , Sotnik , Rod ( debrito ) just to name a few . If after all this you some how think that by buying a First Legion figure would be risky and that $50 bucks is a lot of money for a figure produced at this level . Then there is really nothing left to say. And one last tidbit no need to repaint First Legion to make them look nice :)

Simmo, If you check out the FL website www.firstlegionltd.com you will "see" "exactly" what they look like in the flesh....they are as good as or even better then the photos....These are simply the best figures out there....They don't look like K/C, they are not toy like or cartoonish.....Also the WWII figures are slightly smaller (accurate 1:30)..these are very realistic.....They are a bit more pricey then K/C (I will grant you that); but the difference in UPGRADE quality makes them worth it....PS in case you haven't noticed K/C prices have been rising steadily for the same sculpts no noticable improvement....with the exception of their aircraft its the same old with higher prices....The choice is yours of course....just giving you a honest critique....Merry Christmas Frank

Simmo,

Gebhard might have mentioned "bad review" because in a post from yesterday you mentioned that you wanted to get one and "give it a good review or bad review."

Brad,

Just say the word and I'll burst into song, how about ' I saw three ships' ;)

Perhaps that is an issue in your location depending on the figure. In the UK or the states I am pretty sure that you would only be risking the shipping cost since you could easily find one of us that would take something in our collecting range off your hands if you didn't like it. Anyway, I certainly hope you have the opportunity to see the range you like in person, they are well worth the money to me.:)

I have ordered a few American Civil War figures sight unseen Simmo and I'm sure they will be worth it. I think you will like the Stalingrad figures.
