First Legion Westcoaster 2012 (1 Viewer)

Thanks for the link Gebhard. That looks like one HUGE show....looks like an absolute blast! I bet you came away with some fine momentos. That's great that you have FL dealers in town. I agree, the ACW figures are exceptional. I hope to begin collecting them before they start disappearing. But I'm still working on chipping away at the Romans, and the German Tribes pre-order is probably coming soon, which we're anxiously awaiting, I'm sure! I have hopes that the Glory of Rome line does so well that it sticks around for a long, long time and develops in all different directions. Could you imagine FL doing Celts or Picts? Thanks again, Joe

Hi Joe ,
The show was Fantastic , I had my eye on a French Cuirassier helm but at $6000.00 I just couldn't do it :wink2: . I'm sure the Glory of Rome line before its all said and done will be a four headed monster that will be taking our money for years to come . I really wish i could jump on board with the ACW line but as you know you just can't collect it all . I have a strong feeling one of the four new lines to be announced this year will be to much for me to resist . Regards Gebhard

Hi Gebhard,
Just think of all the miniatures you can buy with that $6,000.00 you saved!! You did save $6,000.00, right?:wink2:
Regarding the potential four headed monster that is the Glory of Rome range, I can't think of a better way to have my money taken from me! Regarding the upcoming lines....I'm anxious to know what they are yet fearful at the same time! I have the same feeling that you do.....chances are at least one of those lines is going to be a direct hit on a theme I won't be able to resist (e.g. Vikings, 100 Years War, Greeks [featuring the fighting forces of the various contributing city states] vs Persians, or the Peloponnesian War [featuring representation of the assorted components of both Leagues]....so many conflicts, so little cash:tongue:). Well, if you need something to carry around the next irresistible line, I know of a $6,000.00 hat you can use....just flip in over and fill it up! LOL
Seriously now, I was enjoying some of my latest FL Roman acquisitions (picked up at the Westcoaster), and I took a few more pics....I'll post a few tomorrow. Fun stuff!
Best,
Joe
