FIW British Command (2 Viewers)

Thanks everyone, this has got to be one of the most colourful sets I have painted to date. I hope Konrad likes what he is about to see..........

Jeff

A conflict of opinions!……..Frenchie seems to think that the “enemy” is over them there hills! But the British allied Chief has other ideas. The British Officers including Rogers look on, whilst the Sergeant has given orders for the Rangers to load their muskets…….

I hope you have enjoyed the process (once again!) and many thanks for looking and your comments.

:):)

Regards

Jeff

 How could Konrad not like them. They look even better when displayed as a group.

Thanks for sharing the process with us Jeff !!!

PS What's next :D

Jeff,
that is some awesome set and your skills as a painter of the "Traditional Style" are exceptional.
What a pleasure to look at them.
I really do appreciate the opportunity here to be able to own a "custom made" set like this and I am sure that other fellow "glossy" fans will agree that it can't get any better.
Thanks again!
Konrad

Yo Troopers, steady on the praises, the price will be going up lol. Jeff told me mine are getting soaked in petrol & painted with a Distemper brush DOH :( lol so watch this SPACE. Superb stuff Jeff as usual, your the man.

Bernard,
as long as Jeff is doing the petrol- and distemper brush treatment  I wouldn't worry about them ;) :D.
Looking forward to see those 18th Hussars, especially since you have no restrictions on enhancements whatsoever.
You're up for a nice set!
Happy Collecting!
Konrad

Now all you need to do to finish is to make the presentation box ;)

Prost!
Brad

Jeff:

Thanks John,
These were as challenging as Rob’s Jacobite set and equally colourful……………but remember it’s only as good as the amount of GREEN paint used.

Yo Trooper you must be from the UK if you know what a distemper brush is.
When I was a young lad we lived in a Victorian Terraced (didn't we all lol) anyway it was my job to whitewash the back yard walls with lime, used to buy it in big lumps put some water in the tin bath and mix it until it was like paint, boy the stuff could burn you, but man we were tough them days lol.
Bernard.

Jeff:

Its also about the skill of the Painter!!:)

Hope you post another project for us to follow along with!

Nice work painting and posting the progress photos. A true artist, but how do you keep the paint off your camera? I could imagine the disaster I would make of my camera:D maybe I would use my son's camera. John

He he, trooper Bernard,
no, I'm not from the U.K. and had no idea what a distemper brush is.
Just figured that it had to be something nasty and went along with it :D.

Beautiful set Jeff. The flag looks a complete mindscrew to work out what colour goes where. Nice one. Especially the green bits. :)

This fine set arrived in KY now and I just started an album to show some of Jeff's great work. I will also add other albums with items from my collection.
Looking forward to any visitor and comments.
Happy Collecting!

Konrad,

I'm glad that the figures arrived safe and sound. Are you going to do one of your woodland scenes with these?

Cheers

Jeff
