Taking the lead from my Trophy Friends inspired by Sir Martyn I thougt I'd created a thread featuring Conte's Flag Bearers and hope others will join me my adding theirs by Conte from his various series. Betting you'd know the which of my Bearers would be the first to make it's appearance............The Lt.

Joe I haven't got any individual shots of Conte flag-bearers but I think you'll spot three maybe four amongst this rabble^&grin^&grin

Recently acquainted with this hobby, the flagbearers were an instant attraction - I couldn't imagine painting them for the cost - and the detail is so intricate - took me a while to tumble to the decals but even then the technology for fixing decals has changed so much......
......and then that ACW dio.....

Absolutely incredible Bob; truly a case where more is more...but nothing appears out of place; wonderfully disciplined presentation of something so complex.

The compliment was well deserved Martyn and I'm glad the kids in you UKReb and Rob got you to join in. Sure did spot a few of his bearers of yours in another of your classic photos Bob and in his ACW series including the Son's of The South and Zouaves I've counted 25 Flag Bearers Conte's provided.
