BD11-"Save the Colour". One of Trophy's best!

It continues to be such a pleasure seeing what appears from your Treasure Chest Martyn, Tommy and Lawrence and can't thank you enough for sharing their contents with us.{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}:salute:::salute:::salute::

Lovely sets Tommy :salute:::salute::

Cheers

Thanks Martyn. According to Len's catalogue, these flags were 6' x 6' on a 9' pole. I don't know if this figure is to scale in that regard. Please take a look the next time you are in the Guards' Museum or the Imperial War Museum.

Will do Tommy, but I'm not sure when that will be

Thanks Lawrence and Martyn. Collecting Trophy Waterloo is like collecting AZW-a bottomless pit!

This accompanying figure with his boot caught is another example of Len's imagination and talent. The only figures I have seen like this from Trophy are French!

Excellent set Tommy {bravo}} A similar pose would have looked great as a Lancer in the Crimea or Zululand or Sudan :wink2:

Cheers

Thanks Joe and Martyn. You will recall there is an AZW set where the horse is falling and the Lancer lands on his back after going over the horse's head. Same set for the Sudan and Crimea. That set is not in the Waterloo sets.

Hi Tommy

I've got that one in the Crimea series and also 3 variants in the AZW but I didn't know there was one for the Sudan.

Cheers

Martyn:)
