Would dearly love to see something like this from JJD, OS2U Kingfisher:

Yikes, that’s a big pic!{eek3}

The type had a long service life and served in many environments. Looks great with yellow wings:

Had a 1/48 Monogram Kingfisher as a kid. Was a favorite, so yes, would like to see one in either early war colors or in yellow wing configuration. -- Al

I liked that old kit also, but the float was too short!:redface2:

A contemporary kit in 1/32 with a properly proportioned float:

Note the difference with the kit build that I posted an image of above.

Ever since going to Alaska I have been fascinated by float planes . . . . Would love to add one to my collection preferably pre-war or WWII but would also be happy with one from WWI . . .

Another "looker" when it comes to floatplanes is the F1M2 Pete:

Would dearly love to have one of these tied up at a local lake!^&cool

Would look awesome parked in some Magic Water, BTW:

Can't beat the Pete for curb appeal!

Much of the original inventory ended up at the bottom of (a) lagoon(s)...

Edit: Sorry, but I originally linked an image into the post that included two Korean women. I didn't realize that this was the case until I examined the pics in the thread. I subsequently edited out the pic. My bad and apologies to our readers.

Isn't the middle figure of the third photo that of Amelia Earhart being sent to Japan? {eek3} Chris
