Foam!!! (2 Viewers)

Those buildings go best with 1:30 scale. 1:32 looks good also but not as good as the larger scale....

Brad, Nick,

Go back to bed. That's way to early to be posting stuff on the forum when you could be catching up on valuable season recovery time.

Nice building works as usual Nick.

C'mon Simon, don't you know that if you stay in bed after 5:00 AM you've wasted the best part of the day, you know; early to bed early to rise, you snooze-you loose, the early bird catches the......well you get the idea. Yeah. I don't buy it either, but old habits die hard.

You can also use silicone glue the same one that you put in your bath.

By the way this is a good work, I'm too use foam to create my Diorama.

Cheers:)

Thanks, I like the hot glue because it dries quick and I can create building,etc... much faster than if I used foam glue or silicone. The only draw back from using the hot glue is that you don't have time to move a piece after it is glued and the glue burns when it gets on the flesh! Good luck with your project. I'd like to see the finished product.....Nick

Very nice buildings. You have done a great job on them.

Just a tip in regards to the strings from the hot glue. If you have access to a hairdryer I think that you will find that will do the trick. :)

Hi
What do you use to make the lines in the foam?I use a pen but I need something that will go deeper in the foam.
Cheers
Dave

I use a very sharp single edge blade to cut the lines out making the corner blocks look like they are individual.
