Randy mate,
Glad you like the new Lighthorse. The mounted figures of Sir Harry Chauvel and Sir Edmund Alllenby are fantastic likenesses. This range is getting better and better and will be further expanding.
Looking forward to seeing some more of your photos containing Lighthorse.
I presume that photo came from Craig (WETS). I think he had a good time at the Dinner. A top young bloke with a big TS manufacturing career ahead of him.
Cheers Howard

Wow! Those are fantastic!! And some different poses! I'm on board for those when they show up at my dealer!

IMO this is one of K&C's best series.

Those are fantastic. VERY tempting even thought they're way out of my areas of interest. Wonder if there is a WW1 Rolls Royce Armored car in the pipeline too?

These look very interesting indeed, this would make an excellent stand alone set as the figures go nicely together.

Rob

Hi Guys,

Here’s some extra pix of the above pieces. Hope you like them.

Andy,

very nice to see these hi-res images of the new troops, and I expect they will be look even better with a 'lick of paint'

The heliograph is a wonderful idea, and I think you are the only maker who is producing one.

Well Done !!!

John

Excellent sculpts{bravo}}...Very realistic natural poses:salute::.....If not painted too brightly these are going to be great....When are these scheduled for release?

The Light Horse is an example of a range that was outside my area of interest but the figures were so good that I dove in anyway. I'm not sure anyone sculpts horses better than K&C.

The fact that they went well with the Desert Village pieces helped. They currently serve figures in my collection as varied as WWII North Africa, The Crusades and even the Alamo, and could easily host my K&C SF and Figarti modern figures if I didn't have Bin Laden's cave etc. I hope that's an encouragement for K&C to do more desert buildings and "back-lot" dio pieces as well.

Think I am going to do likewise. Last year I made the decision to give up collecting K&C in any serious way. The new SOTE has really tested my willpower. Now, these figures are way out of my area of interest, but they are just too good to resist. Don't think that I'll invest in the whole series, but am definitely going to be grabbing some of these new 'non-action' poses. Now let's see that WW1 Rolls Royce come along too... otherwise I may have to send one off to Obee for a reconfiguration.

I don't have any Australians but i will
very nice sets coming out
Gotta have it

Jules,

you don't have to post it.... drive it down to Freo :)

Yep, this series is really rolling out lots of interesting and exciting poses. Cant wait for these latest releases expected before Christmas. Cheers, Robin.

I came accross this image of a Turkish heliograph in WW1
800px-Turkish_heliograph_at_Huj2.jpg

A World War I Ottoman signaling crew in Huj (1917) with a heliograph

Seeing an Aussie one is coming, why not a Turk?

Something to ponder???

John

It would be great to see the British figure and LH machine gun to make an appearance after a year in moth balls. Anyone else keen on this occurring? Cheers, Robin.

Robin mate,
If I was a betting man, I would put a quid on the fact that those two (as seen as samples last June) plus others will appear on Andy's visit to Sydney and Brisbane in July this year. Hope to see you in Brisbane.
Cheers Howard

I hope to see the imperial camel corp, with mounted medic and camp beds
If Lawrence on camel sells well, I think Andy should consider this idea

Obertsoskar mate,
Not the Imperial Camel Corp cobber, but the Australian Camel Corp.^&grin^&grin would sell extremely well. I think that this could be a possibility. There are a lot English gentlemen out there like the Grey Goose who are really into camels.:smile2: I mean who collect camels.
Cheers Howard
