Hi guys,

Thought I'd start our normal discussion a little early this month as not only are Dispatches on the horizon but also we have the Texas show hoving into view first and any surprises that we may see there.

So what are we hoping for this month? June is often a D Day month and last year we saw not only US D day figures but also USAAF figures and a Thunderbolt. We also got the excellent RAF Bowser{bravo}} I'm hoping we will see the newspaper seller we saw previewed a while back too. So guys, what are you hoping for/ expecting?

Rob

Would love a surprise of more d-day beach rangers, wounded and dead! Leaving the landing craft!

Would also like to see the cwt truck!^&grin PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Maybe a few new German sets!?

Scott

Like to see a D-Day Spitfire IXE or XIV and some British tankers sitting down drinking tea + German fuel truck would be nice

As I say every dispatches more Aussies please... no surprise always a permanent wish from me...{sm4} but some Great War British artillery and vehicles would be welcome.
Wayne.

In the spirit of Wayne's Great War requests, a French 75mm gun and crew, please.^&grin p.s.- early war, if you would. -- Al

I'd like to see something from FOB, like a Suoma tank, but have no reason to expect one. June is more likely a D-Day sort of month.

Well, I will try to be normal, but at times AB normal (remembering Young Frankenstein of course!) but yes dispatches are a week away. The Texas show is also a few days away. I would appreciate your response on threads that are out there regarding the Texas show. I would also like to know what you think of my collection as what of it is posted so far, being you are a long term member of the forum and a great diorama maker, etc.

What say ye Rob?

As far as June dispatches, I will take anything I can get!

Ludwig

about time Rob!!!!

Well, we are getting closer to the summer months and D-Day releases this dispatches sets will be out in june so, maybe some d-day releases. Think we will see WSS sets released maybe some german armour for the normandy campaign. Artillery for the desert war maybe??

As far as the Texas Show my digital camera is ready to go. Will post plenty of pics here for the forum members.
Also any info that Andy will allow to be shared I will pass it on. Till Friday night in San Antonio....

I have alot of the US marines figures and I am holding out waiting for some more fighting Japs to go with them. I can only hope some will come in the future. Maybe Andy can answer with maybe someday and I will be happy. Simmo.

Rob mate,
As much as I would like to see some more lighthorsemen, I have a current passion for some more ACW. The last release of Bufords Cavalry (Outstanding release) was in June 2010 nearly two years ago. I have been patiencely waiting for some more Cavalry maybe around the Brandy Station time but my biggest wish is for some, and Obee will love this, Artillery. A battery to support Buford's men would be really nice.
The last release of CSA figures was in June 2009 and if I remember correctly, Andy always said that Conferate forces sold better than Union ones. All the CSA Infantry have been retired and the 83rd Penn. (Union) figures were released in June 2008 and also probably due for retirement.
Note the common date all though this post is JUNE.^&grin Maybe we will see some ACW in the JUNE dispatches.:smile2: John Bell Hood at the Texas Show is a start.
Cheers Howard

I would like more of the Light Horse as well as combatants. I share your desire for the ACW. I recently bought the tent that Lee's belongings go in. After that I researched all of the pieces and I am ready. I am making room in my spending for it. Of course the confederates sell better. Just like the Germans...everyone likes the bad boys whether they admit or not. I also like the search for gathering all the retired ones. Thrill of the hunt eh?

Do you need someone to buy and send you a John Bell Hood? I will be getting one for my collection. If you want one I would do cost plus shipping for a fellow Tree Frogger if they sell ya more then one.

As far as the June dispatches I think it would be too much to hope for Bulge and ACW in one month after seven months of no American Soldiers. But who knows!!!!????

Ludwig!

My comments are limited to WWII... What I would like to see are the winter T-34 & Russian soldiers, but don't think they are coming now. What I expect to see, according to tradition, are new DD sets.
