Franco Prussian War Piece (2 Viewers)

Then I added grass, some foliage and rocks to the scene. The bldg props were glued into place. The first pic shows the whole scene within the box. The second picture is to proposed frame size for this scene.

I resized the gate and reposed testfitted the figs charging thru it. The focus is now on doing up the figures for this scene. And there are quite a number of them.

Here are a few more figs being knocked up, all French. I even used a Segom body for one of the figs.

I then added details and resculpted some of the figures to position them correctly in the scene.

Hi Louis,

Thanks for yr ebullient and premature remarks. But at this stage, I'll take all the kudos for energy as I plough the fields of Gravelotte....
I ve excavated quite a number of 1/35 body parts. Bought a lot of 1/35 figure kits with useless modern weapons and paraphernalia. Anyway, these 1/35 bodies will help to swell the ranks for this scene.

Then I tested their positions within the scene. I had to relocate the bldg structures to get the results I wanted. You can see the areas where the grass was denuded.
The last pic is a dress rehearsal.

I resculpted more new figs. These three prussians are coming in from the left.
The other figures are reaching final sculpting.
A new dead French soldier is being sculpted.
I added chin scales to all the pickelhaubes.

Heres the final recruitment drive. Using the worst mannequins in my scrap heap and trying to make them work.
The 2nd picture shows a vignette of three figs. Here's the wip of these three figs.

Hi Louis,
Thank you for your ever gracious remarks.
I fixed these prussians into the scene. As you can see, the door vignette hasnt yet been fixed as I still have to finish a couple of figures behind the door pushing back.
The second pix shows another lot of 5 completed sculpts, all French.
