French Artillery FIW 1750’s (1 Viewer)

Very nice, Jeff,
you picked the colors right and I don't want to alter anything as there wasn't a variety on french artillery uniforms of the period.
It's amazing how the display "grows" with every step you take.
Thanks a lot!
Konrad

Konrad,

Glad you like it so far, the upper body area with get the next lick of the brush. These Tradition figures have quite a bit of detail and it makes the painting that much easier.

Jeff

Cannon is finished, so on with the Jacobites!

:D:D

They certainly are :).
Great paint job on these Jeff.
Just tomake me feel better, how many coats of white did you have to apply to get them looking that clean and crisp? (please say 4 or more)

Simon,

Only two, sorry  (but I left the palette in the sun for a while to thicken up).

You are blessed to have such a great artist producing this beautiful set. It will certainly be a prize addition to your 18th C collection.:)

Jeff, -sorry you live across the Atlantic. Otherwise I could see my self asking you to paint quite a few things. Beautiful work.

Amen to that Dick. It's a pity that the US dollar no longer buys much in the UK because many of us would happily be lining up to commission Jeff.
