Well, here is my first diorama. All of my figures are kept in a glass curio, so I thought I would add a little life to my study. This display is in the upper level of my cabinets, so it is roughly 5 feet off the floor. I didn't want to wall in the front side where people couldn't see the figures behind the walls. After a hundred different combinations, I finally came up with this arrangement for the walls.

I guess K&C needs to come out with a great gate of Hougoumont diorama. Thanks Andy! I really like your product.

Outstanding use of the French farmhouse, really like the creative way you set it up; the beauty of that set is it has numerous variations you can come up with.

Britains has a very nice Hougomont gate and wall sections you can use (until Andy makes one of his own.............)

Looks really good bud-

while I am not a fan of the Naps era per se, I can enjoy looking at the bright uniforms.

I look forward to seeing your armies (or armee's) grow

Hi mk26gmls,

That is one mighty fine diorama you have developed on your shelf! It provides me with some very good display ideas. Whatever different arrangements you tried, I think you must have found one of the best! The display is spectacular! Thanks for photographing it a posting it for us!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Cool set up. Like the layout, a little different from what we usually see.

Very, very nice. It inspires me to add a few more French troops to my collection. I'd like to do something similar with my KGL figures. Well done!

Way to go ... your creative arrangement sure brings out the best of the Napoleonics.

Thank you for sharing.

Thanks guys! I appreciate your comments. It definitely took a while to come up with a layout that would fit the space I had to work with and not block the view of anyone since it is almost at eye level.

What other configurations of the farmhouse and courtyard are you using with your figures?

Are you using the farmhouse with periods other than Napoleonics?

How about posting some pics.

I’m not a big fan of Napoleonic time, especially because the way they used to fight: you shoot first and I wait, then I will shoot after:eek:, but I agreed that this collection (cloth and the characters face) are very well done.

Cheers

I dont know what happen to my last post on this wonderful Diorama - but here is the point that was made before.....

NAPOLEON APPROVES !!

I like to mix mine with the foam house I built and with other scenic pieces also and have used it in many different combinations and have seen it used in various combinations from others. Heres a couple of photos of mine.
