Some photos of a layout of my FL French infantry. I have not done any permanent ground work. For now I am just enjoying the freedom of being able to arrange and rearrange the figures in different configurations.

WOW what an amazing set of figures, that is the biggest collection of FL French Line I've ever seen. Congratulations and well done for staying so focused.

Hello King Man,
Wow!
Everything has already been said ......
It takes a lot of space to display!!
If I counted the number of pieces is "only" an infantry regiment of the line?
Really impressive to see such a display.
You are probably the best collectors in the world for French infantry FL.
Thank you and congratulations.
Cordially.
Guy.

WOW!!, I Am so envious. I can only wish/ dream about a collection this big.

Terrific stuff, I really like this detail: the Voltigeurs up in front.

Cheers,
Paulo

Very impressive!! When you put some ground work with those, you will have one amazing diorama.

That is very impressive! Some guys have really good company-sized displays, but this is a virtual battalion!

Thank you for your kind words. I do get a lot of joy from them. The key word is as royalwelch mentioned would be “focus”. That focus has been at the cost of totally missing out on the British releases and other interesting items.

Making ground work isn’t my cup of tea. I wish it was, because I love the dioramas I see on the forum. There is also the problem of size, where to put it. Someday, I dream of having Hudson and Allen Studios making me a landscape. That would mean I would have to cut back on buying figures, not enough money for everything. However, for now I enjoy playing around with different arrangements too much to lock myself into one single layout. I let my imagination fill in for the lack of groundwork.

That's outstanding! I was definitely not expecting to see that many figures when I opened the thread. I started doing the mental math and then just stopped completely and simply enjoyed the photos and the display. Superb!
