Hi to all. It's been a while since my last diorama (my son's trench project and before that an RAF airfield).... Here are some pictures of my latest K&C diorama board - I wanted it to work with various periods and ranges - as a WW1 airfield, a WW1 skirmish scene, a Napoloeanic skirmish scene, maybe WW2, etc. I have designed it with location markers in black to drop the King & Country scenic pieces into as I didn't want to fix them in. I had to make up an extra wall piece to match the K&C pieces and also create a driveway with paving stones to match the farmhouse base. I still need to texture and paint the bricks on the sides of the board, add some scenic touches, etc. I hope to finish it next weekend and post pictures, starting with the airfield. I have 2 DVII's and 2 Albatroses ready and waiting.....

What wonderful multi use dio. Look forward to seeing your first full scene.
 
Jamo, Love the display!! I would picture it with KC Napoleonics as one approach. Nice job{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}I never thought of cinder blocks as a back barrier....great idea would be cool for castle etc back drops too. Very fine my friend.

Very well done, like how you have made the pavers to look the same as the Farmhouse entrance and the terrain and road look fantastic! 10 out of 10 from me {bravo}}

Nice looking diorama terrain. I have the French walls set myself, but look how good it looks with the retired French house !
