I finally got the last pieces that I wanted in on my WWII diorama - "The War is Over For You - Fritz !"

The base is on a canvas 14x14 square which I picked up cheap at Micheals and the base ground cover is Hudson & Allen - good stuff.

I wanted to have the FoB 61 "Fritz Set" with the Bedford Lorry (FoB 42) and with a few more Brits - Standing Brit (FoB 08) and an Officer (FoB 53) - to give it a little more detail.

Enjoy.

The plane was a Forces of Valor - really cheap / but great quality for the price - $26.00

That is a really nice job. Very imaginative use of the BF-109 and the figures. -- Al

I've scrutinized this diorama very closely and I just cannot see any French Napoleonics hidden anywhere. :D Kudos Capitolron, this is a terrific diorama about one of my favourite subjects and eras, great job. Those FOV pieces do work well sometimes. I especially like that Bedford truck. Does its canopy come off?

No - ropes have it tied down! ;)

Really - no it is all one piece.

Thanks, for all the kind remarks everyone - I had this in mind since the Fritz set came out and I finally got around to finishing it.

I love the Field of Battle Range ! :D

Very nicely done, Ron!!:cool: Excellent attention to detail. The bent props, bullet holes, and the broken tree trunk are all nice touches.:cool:

Ron

This is a superb and very well thought out scene. Definitely an Oscar contender this year!

Thanks Louis - I also had a small blowtorch which I used to give the "plane on fire" effect - if you look at the engine - you can see the oil leeking out !
