I just received the latest Rivet from Shannon and there is a line in Andy's dispatches that somehow i missed before.He talks about retiring the two American D Day beach sets and says 'but we have something else in the pipeline'.Now as D day is my major collecting range this has got me wondering what he might have up his sleeve for us?.Anyone have any ideas??

Wasn't there going to be a coastal defence type bunker and German defenders mentioned for last year. It never materialised but maybe a series based around that may be back on the cards.

Thats right,Andy hinted at some more troops for D day last December.I think we may get some 'ordinary' Germans and Brits.Wasn't there a design issue with the Bunker which has delayed its release?.Some normal German troops would be great,we have plenty of SS now.Also some British troops like those of 'Tommy patrol' would be a great reinforcement.

I recall specific SS Panzer Troop sets such as the 12th SS Hitlerjugend were mentioned at some stage. Within four days of D-Day there were FOUR Panzer Divisions deployed against the Commonwealth forces near the Cain area, with several more arriving later.

Personally I can't get enough German Waffen SS camo sets but I agree some grey uniformed figure sets from the Heer are overdue.
