Frontline FIW........Campfire Diorama (1 Viewer)

Hi Mike,
Your Soldier Collection must be getting pretty big at this point :). I too like these Frontline Indians. I like the poses of hunting and camp life.

I think I've asked you this before on another thread, but here goes ... how did you make your water surface?

Cheers

Hi, Mike, I hadn't had a chance to look at your pics until now. Those Frontline Indians are really great.

I'm a fan of Frontline, too, though most of what I have is from the Colonial Classics line. I think their figures represent an evolution from the older generation of figures made in Hong Kong (primarily King-White), and they seem to have stayed close to the style. That is, you can put an old Reeves toy soldier next to a Frontline soldier and see a stylistic relationship.

I think, actually, they're better than Jenkins' figures. I'm know I'm a heretic for saying it, but his figures all look like Neanderthals, and they have similar proportion problems as one often finds among wargame figures, for all of the animation and variety of pose that they have. But these Frontline Indians are very nicely excuted.

And I like the way you put the scene together, too.

Well done, prost!
Brad
