Taking in a beautiful Central Pa day. The lighting is great for picture clarity. Here I have some of my Figarti modern troops providing assistance to some injured Baghdad civilians. A stryker provides fire protection and will evac the injured civilians to the local hospital (note the one trooper is from the HB letter from Santa set and the blown up building is the Secundra Bagh wall section from Britains)

Good to see a modern dio for a change...Those boys dont get enough attention in this hobby...Thanks for sharing.

Awesome pic's and collection Chris and i agree with the previous comments, it's nice to see some modern troops for a change.

Modern! Always Modern. When are manufacturers going to realise that the market is flooded with modern offerings and get some WWII put out.
Oh, hang on........:rolleyes2:

Nice lighting mate, really brings out the pics nicely. That M240 gunner is gonna get a real headache if someone leans on the missile fire button {sm2}

Good to see the HB trooper getting an airing. Can't think that there will be many of these about.

Thank you!! I'm clearly not at your (BSP) level but it's nice to get a nod. :)

The lighting is excellent....If I could offer some suggestions:

Hide the bases of the figures with some loose dirt, use a small paint brush to move it around.

Push some dirt around your building and wall bases to ground them.

I dont know if you want to go this far, but you could make a "Wash" of 30% brown acrylic craft paint and 70% water then get a good size brush and slop it on the building to weather it. The wash will get in the cracks and bring out the detail. Do it again if it does not bring out the detail to your satisfaction. The mix has to be watery

We also wash our figures sometimes also.

Don't say you are not at our level, keep working on your scenes and improving. I hope I was of some help

Here is a scene from a long time ago. Your lighting and camera angle is better, but see how the grounding of the soldiers and buildings add realism. We were not weathering then either

Here the building and figures are washed, see the black in the cracks of the building

Look's Awsome. I can see why you collect modern era looks great. You need to post more pics
of your modern troops, maybe it will give the manufactures motivation to produce some new modern
items.

Great shots.....Thanks CC. I thought the first picture was real from your album.

As others have said, it is nice to see Modern for a change. It is like a breath of fresh air after basements.:(

Best, Raymond:)

Interesting analogy as I have the bulk of my collection on display in my basement!! {sm4}

Thanks so much for the compliments fellas. Dave- keep your eyes peeled- today is looking like a gorgeous day so I am hopong to get out and set the American Muscle loose!! {sm4}

@Firebat- thanks for the heads up- you really got me thinking on the whitewash- that Britains set is pretty pasty-white so some wash would look good.

Here's today's batch-

my eldest son saw me in the prone out there snapping pics and yells out "MAN DOWN!!" {sm4}
