Hey Mike,

I've have a dining table you can place it on. No complaints from me. Er, wait... my wife says no. I love the layout: the openness, realism of buildings and dock with water.

Mike,

Another example of your outstanding work. Very life-like in all respects. You made a wonderful set up here for sure!

I think your buildings come very close to JJ's quality so don't sell yourself short.

Steve...George...Mark...appreciate the comments...

as an amateur modeler...I do have fun with building stuff...it's the hobby within the hobby...

but it doesn't compare with the artistic creations...I have seen from toy soldier manufacturers......as seen in John Jenkins building a fur trading fort tutorial thread...

John picks up some old coat hangers...a card board box...some bubble gum...a paper clip and a spool of tape and makes truly realistic structures...

that tutorial he recently posted proves he's the MacGyver of creating buildings from scraps around the house...truly impressive...

Hi.
Did you make the buildings or were they purchased?.
Thanks for the post.

Inspirational stuff here Mike. Great composition of layout. Hopefully it will adapt to hold the keelboat, but if not you have until Christmas to work it out.{sm4} , Shame it has to be packed away, it’s a showpiece. Robin.

thanks Robin...yea...that boat won't fit in my tiny river...it was made before he premiered the boat...I made it for a JJD canoe...

Wonderful work Mike! The buildings and dock look great and the figures look right at home.
