I, as I am sure many others did, just received the following from Thomas Gunn:

****

The first of our new Fallschirmjagers have now landed in the UK and are ready for shipping as we speak and are as follows:

FJ001 Light Gun 40 with 2 crew and ammunition crate = £60 inc VAT for Europe and $75 for the rest of the VAT world! Normandy version available in limited edition of 200 sets and Tropical 100 sets.

GC006 Reload comprises a very cool looking FJ figure reaching into his ammo pouch to reload his MP40. Once again limited to 200 Normandy and 100 Tropical versions worldwide.

Half of our Para 001 Dinghy sets also arrived on Monday along with Acc Pack 002; these are now ready to ship so place your order as soon as possible. Remember most Gunn Club members will get a free Acc Pack 002 dinghy with their order when buying direct from us as an early Christmas present!

As a lot of you will know weather permitting, it will be the London Toy Soldier show this Saturday. I am pleased to say that there will be a finished sample of the FW190 Tropical version on display. From start to finish this project has taken 8 months although some said it could never be done! I am not sure if we will ever make another aircraft so if you would like one please let me know as soon as possible. I will be getting studio photographs taken of the Tropical version tomorrow and will email these out. However I thought it might be nice to attach a photo I received from the factory today of the finished ETO version – kind of nice looking plane don’t you think?

Last but not least I have attached an electronic order form for your perusal. It would be very much appreciated when placing an order thru us direct, if you could complete this form and email back to me as it will ensure quicker processing of your orders!

I thought the Tropical version was on its way but I'm not sure from this message. I have asked for clarification.

Am I right to think that the FW 190 on the photo is the plane in which Armin Faber flew during the first years of the WWII ? (he landed by mistake in the Uk in 1942
guy:confused:

I just received an email from TG saying the Tropical version should hit the UK next week. The ones bound for the US are on a ship right now so those should arrive in due course.

Guy...

Your right that is the Faber version. Looks like the guys at London will be posting pics of the desert version from tommorow.
Mitch

Can't wait to see the picture's, Looks very nice indeed!

Hope all you guys who can make it to the show have a top day.

One day ill make it. One day.

Dave

recieved email from Tom a few days ago said FW's due in UK in 10 days and not sure about US because they were shipped direct to US...Ron

Did the plane manage to get to the London show:D
Regards Scott

Yes it did and it's quite nice, however for me TG's stand out product are their FJ's, very very nice indeed. Great new set of FJ clubbing Brit soldier on floor with his rifle, great action set. Also some other new sets that will go really well with their ealier FJ releases, TG's figures are very attractive. Nice work Tom!.

And those sets are sitting with me as I type en route back home.
Will get pics up if they haven't already been shown. Agree with Rob, great sets from TGM.

Quick get home dying to see them........:D

Interested myself did anyone else takes pics seem to be lacking in the show pics
Mitch

German machine gunners are great; the FW-190 looked good but I did not like the Brit paras standing - ones in dingy are better. Got to show late so only got a few pics.

Cheers

You lucky, lucky bastard
Guy:D

He was in there like a rat up a drainpipe. Managed to bag the only display sets available. Three 2 man new sets never seen before and very nice they are too. My favourite was the Fj kneeling and firing his mp40 but they are all action poses which is good. The FJ clubbing the para looks very brutal. Cant wait to see a para get his revenge!

I thought those brit paras standing looked cool, especially the one standing on the box!!
I agree the Dingys are ace!!

Someone I think Rob mentioned a fj tackling a Brit, Anyone see that? or have pics?

The FW190 looks nice.

Good job Tom

Yeah, seen it thanks. ;)
I just need to get a few bits sorted around the house, and then I'll start getting pics up, including these, to compliment those already up from Andy, Rob, Martyn and Gazza
