even with his left hand...hahaha...

but nah...Jamie loved him...

they kept panning the camera on Lord Varys during the wedding party...especially when the dwarf kings assembled...he's a suspect to me...

Joffrey did not have many admirers ! That goes without saying...I wouldn't be surprised if Margery poisoned him...Dinklage is obviously the one being thrown under the bus here...But how many people other than Lena Headley are really upset here !??

hey Joe...

yes...he was a very sadisticly, detestable little bastage...he definitely won't be missed by anyone except his mother...and yes again...Cersei hates her dwarf brother so much...he's the obvious choice as the assassin...

but we all know Hollywood doesn't write scripts for the obvious...that's why I'm ruling out Tyrion and Ser Dontis...as he conveniently popped up to whisk Sansa away...and for that matter...it may be Sansa...but she's too gentle...

now if her sister Aryia was around...she would be the absolute hands down favorite..."I think I'll pick my teeth with it"...hahaha...she actually smiled while she skewered that guy...

I'm still sticking with the Tyrells...either Margaery or her grandmother...

second choice is Lord Varys...if you rewatch it...the camera panned to him at least 3 times during the ceremony...while he had no speaking part...

Lord Varys claims he only wants what's best for the kingdom...

I wonder how his "sorcerer prisoner" is doing in that box...

hahaha...couldn't have said it better Paul...now I would like to see his mother go next...

okay...so who did it...everybody hated him except his mother...

Tyrian...Sansa...the Knight turned Jester...

I'm guessing Aunt Olenna...she is shrewd and doesn't take any guff from anybody...

or his bride Margaery...

and who rules now...Margaery who wears the crown...or Cersei without a crown?

the list of potential murderers includes the whole cast...

next episode should be a good one...

I am not sure I would rule Cersei out. Not sure she loves her children as much as power as earlier moments indicated.

Larry ,

I would say if Cersei (Lena Headley) was worried about a power grab , i believe it would have been better or easier for her to have done it before he got married...Maybe i am wrong here but doesn't this now make Margery a player for power here since she is now the Queen...& Cersei just the mother of a dead King !? I am not sure how this will play out , since i have not read the books...But Cersei's father (Charles Dance) who is (hand of the King) does he now have the power ?!?
I guess we shall see...but nonetheless glad to see Jofferey gone...Just worried about Dinklage now !

Joe

Joe,
I was wondering the same thing until you watch the preview for next week's episode where the grandmother is speaking Margery and the clip indicates she doesn't automatically become queen. Not sure how it works out, but I don't rule Cersei out since that brief clip made me think Margery doesn't step into power automatically. Which is also why I downplay her potential role (at least in my mind.)

Of course, this is all predicated on a couple of seconds of footage so I could be in the wrong ballpark!

Larry ,

If that is true that Margery doesn't automatically become queen , maybe it has to do with not cunsumating the marriage ?!

Well I've finally caught up, so I can read this thread without worrying about spoilers. I thought Season 3 was fantastic! The Red Wedding was huge but there were plenty of other great bits as well. As for Joffrey's wedding, I don't think I've seen a tenser scene than Joffrey's taunting of Dinklage. Oh, he was so odious!

Another affecting scene was the Dog's theft of the farmers silver. He was appearing to become better but he is clearly still very damaged material. Even so, there's scope for redemption - maybe. Jamie also has gone backward, very, very far - after emerging with some credit from Series 3.

As for the farmer, he's the latest example of someone who makes a bad decision (ignoring all the Dog's obnoxious behaviour) and pays for it. I think this is the stand out theme of the show. People make poorly considered choices and the consequences are horrendous! Joffrey executing Ned, Rob marrying his commoner (but very hot) girl, everything Dragon girl's brother did etc Funnily enough, Dinklage, despite his debauched behaviour, is one of the better thinkers of all.

The most upsetting stuff has been the treatment of Thorne Greylock. That b@stard is a real b@stard!

Theon is getting what he deserves as he betrayed the Starks' and killed a lot of people in Winterfell. But he is going to get that guy.

When Theon betrayed Rob Stark , by his stab in the back by taking Winterfell...I was so hoping he was going to get his...That being said , i didn't anticipate anything like this...It's brutal...
Would have liked to have seen King Joffery sent over to Ramsey Bolton (Snow) , that would feel justified...

It's really tough trying to decide who is the nastiest character? Joffrey's a real front-runner but Ramsey is crazy bad. Jamie has done some very dodgy things (incest, murder, crippling a child) but he is strangely likeable. The Mountain is pretty bad, so too Lord Frey. That guy who cut of Jamie's hand. The Red Witch. Oh and Cersei!!! That's not even counting the bad guys north of the wall or on that continent where the Dragon Queen is. Little Finger. Gees, the only do-able task might be to list the nicest character!

There's no predicting how some episodes will finish! OMG!
