They look awesome and the winter germans look great too! Stalingrad is back! And Civil War. It will be a good couple of months!!!!!!!!! Brad

WOW!!!! Those do look good! I will be picking these up for sure...maybe someone will get them for me for Christmas. :smile2: Anyone know when they will be available?

I see Lee riding beside the column of Rebs! I really can't wait for these. I especially like the Longstreet pose.

As these are sneak previews, I don't know that we'll be seeing them for Christmas. Next year I would expect.

First time for me since reviewing the proto types to to see the final painted versions of Lee and Longstreet. They look very nice indeed.
:smile2: Mike

I really like the poses of these figures tough they may be difficult to incorporate into the same scene. The horses also go very well with the poses of the generals. I can feel the intensity as Longstreet gives a crisp salute to either Lee or perhaps one of his subordinates.

Lee looks to be spot on from that photo. I wish we had a better view of both of their faces though.

Speaking of spots, looks like ol' Traveler could do with a few less. Lee's trusted mount was no where near as dappled as this horse has been painted.
Hopefully FL will make some corrections before the eventual release.

I agree about the spots.

Oh I don't know, maybe from the artwork of Don Troiani. -But how can his lifetime of knowledge at bringing the ACW to life through his painting compare to your first hand experience.

I'd say if your using Troiani as your reference its I very good one, and I'd also say his resembles First Legion a good deal as well. You can never please everyone but I'm not gonna split Dapples on a Horses ***. regards Gebhard
