Going by what is made by toy company's Germany would of had no problem winning the war as they had more Tiger tanks & 88mm guns than the real German army , Britain lost all it kit at Dunkirk & had to use lens lease from the USA as you don't see much British stuff late war . Just go to show German stuff sell but is there a market for three 88mm guns from three different company's all out at the same time  I think there all sell well but think it would be nice to see a British tank for one , as don't forget we were there from the start :p:D

Then K&C are your company. So far we've had a choice of British armour including Crusader,Firefly,Cromwell,Grant,Matilda,Sherman,Vickers light Tank,Churchill. Figarti have also really stepped up to the plate and given us Firefly, AVRE, Sherman Crab etc. These two companies have seen the demand for British armour and are really filling the gap...with more to come;)

Hi Rob your right mate you can't knock K&C for choice & looking forward to dispatches next week

I wonder if dispatches are more likely tuesday just before the holidays start on the 2nd?? German stuff has always sold in every genre from plastic kits to metal. Allied armour did not really change much in type or even upgrade as much as the german armour and thus you have more variants and, they are more interesting to the eye.

I am so uninterested in more shermans even though I have a few so its nice to see the churchill and cromwell out as IMO they are the best brit tanks and always look good in dio form.

The 88mm will be a great seller collectors now have the choice from a high price to a low price for one. I would expect CS to fly out the door quickly at the price point.

I would expect a lot more german stuff to come with allied as always running in second

It could be either Mon or Tues, I thought the Holiday started on Tuesday?.

Over the last few years there has been a ground swell of opinion for more British and Allied armour,I agree with you Mitch not the Normal Shemans but the Comets, Matilda's, Churchills etc and Sherman variants. K&C and Figarti have proved the popularity of these items, yes we all love Tigers and Panthers but Tigers at least have been done to death as have (now) the 88.CS's 88's look very nice indeed, but compared to say Figarti's Sherman flail its no contest, purely because its an unusual and stunning release. Am looking forward to the next piece of Allied armour arriving this summer, I think that whilst German stuff will always sell well the last couple of years have seen a new wave of Allied releases which are very welcome indeed.

I thought about your points after posting. I agree that its the same old set of german releases that are coming out from the manufacturers and, only the quality is changing.

I think though that due to less allied armour we are quickly getting to a point where its all be done and we will probably start getting the similar variants a longer gun howitzer gun or different crew adaptations of the same model. Its happening now and I hope that companies doing things like the Jagdtiger will be a departure from the safety net of the same old same old.

There are many AFV's that companies hsould be doing to attract collectors to buy and would be popular. On the allied side you mention some that should be done but, on the german side they should be doing Brumbar's kubelblitz, mobelwagon, wirbelwind, Puma armoured cars in all its variants hell, I would even like to see some of the ''paper panzers'' done as we know from captured plans what was coming from the german arsenal so, lets have a few. Even some of the allied tanks would be a change.

Well said Mitch, I agree its great that K&C are making the Jagdtiger its just what I'd expect from them:cool:. Maybe we will see CS and Figarti follow suit at some point. Lets be in no doubt , we all love the German stuff and its what sells. I have four Tigers now and maybe if K&C do a Grey version I'll get that too, but I too am hoping now for some of the rarer German AFV's you listed or revisiting some of the older stuff. Speaking personally I could happily accommodate more Stugs and Jagdpanthers too.(would love a long barrelled Stug w/skirts)

But maybe because its kind of new but I am just loving the Brit armour thats started to come through, K&C's Firefly and Cromwell are right up my street and am looking forward to what might be rolling up the British beaches this summer.

Any way we look at it Mitch, Brit,German, US...its all good isn't it!;) (although Italian and Japenese armour for some reason doesn't do it for me:confused:)

You forgot to mention all the LAH sets too. :)

I have always felt that for a WW2 company to be taken seriously, they need one of the three iconic vehicles of WW2 fresh in inventory at any given time:
1.) Sherman
2.) Panther
3.) Tiger

The three major WW2 producers have those available in spades. And then all of the little add on vehicles, other items, etc.

Good, bad or indifferent, the German equipment affected warfare directly even today. I think that is a lot of the appeal. So much variety.

Rob...

I agree not two countries that spring to mind when you mention good WWII armour.

I think it will be a good year for releases but, lets hope for adventure and outside the box thinking from all the manufacturers

I like Russian armour Mitch and have K&C and Figarti examples, but I don't have the infantry to back them up I'm afraid, Russian figures had to be one of the things I let go because of Budget:(

Got to agree Rob Figarti British armour range is stunning & been told there should be more late this year ,I would like to see some more Churchill , Comet tank , Cromwell & the Challenger tank

Now one sherman I would like to see would be the firefly with the rockets attached to the turret. If memory serves was it called the Tulip??

Very good idea Mitch, but I would also like to see the full rocket version the Calliope, both would be very welcome.
