George,

Looks like you had a great time setting this up! As usual "Two Thumbs Up". :)

Jeff

Yes I did Jeff, I had a great time with this one, still have to do the wheatfield, peach orchard, little round top, the entire first day, culps hill, cemetary hill and of coarse, Picketts Charge...............

That was truly awesome George!! I can tell the time and effort you put into this and it shows. You did a fabulous job!!!

Will you be in Wilmington, DE on the 25th again this year? Look forward to seeing you.

SCALE ENVY!!!!:cool::cool::cool: Love it!! I am really impressed with the diorama materials, especially the Devils Den rock formations. Two thumbs way up!!:cool:

Hey George, any chance those Alabamians are going to overrun Little Round Top this time? A little water and who knows... -- lancer

Thanks Louis and Panzer; Louis, I love the way you pick up on the small details as it's the small details that make or break dioramas, thanks for the feedback.

Lancer, Longstreet said it was the best three hours of fighting any army anywhere ever did, so who knows, maybe this time they'll take the hill..................

Thanks Cap, that means a lot coming from you, the ACW and 1/72nd scale fan that you are.............

Great looking dio George,

I love those massive jobs, and it does not have a "pool table" look.

It looks really good.:cool::cool::cool:

Love the epic stuff, 1500 figures!:eek::eek:

How many more could you have bought from the movie guy?

Anyway, it looks great,

Michael

Michael,
Thanks very much for taking the time to give me your feedback. I am experimenting with different model railroading scenics; one company makes forest floor covering which I think will look good with trees around them while another makes matts with short and medium length wild grass to give certain spots a "rough" look if you catch my drift.

The guy who I bought 500 figures from had about 2,000 and he came back to me after I bought the 500 and was willing to sell me the rest at short money, I passed like a fool, but at least I got some of the figures. He also had scratch built Gettysburg buildings too, just about every major farm and such on the battlefield, I passed on those too.........

It's nice seeing you playing again George knowing you got to get in some playtime between shows. Along with being a master at setting up your show tables your more than a master at setting up your dioramas. Thanks for sharing your break time.......The Lt.

Thanks Lt, life is too short, playtime is necessary every now and again. With Delaware and Gettysburg back to back next weekend, I needed to goof off for a day or so prior to...........

Glad you did Warrior and I'm sure others will agree with me......The Lt.

George

I shall have to imitate Lee at Appomattox-as commander I need to save the lives of my men and therefore must give up this struggle consequently I surrender my troops to the vastness of your army and offer you my sword- I just cannot compete:D

Great set-ups George and I note Louis's comments whenever you post one of your dios-"scale envy"-perfectly descriptive.

Reb

Thanks Reb, I appreciate the feedback from you. Perhaps when I do Pickett's Charge or the action on the first day, I'll use ALL of my ACW figures, probably close to another 1,500 bringing the total close to 3,000.....
