Gettysburg show (2 Viewers)

Minutemen Toy Soldiers will be there with all the new matte finished items from K & C, First Legion, JJD, TGM, Cold Steel and Britains as well as some vintage metal, plus a big collection of vintage plastics and my usual bits of scenery and terrain. I'll also be blowing out what is left of the Empire Military Miniatures inventory that I have on hand.

Nicholas from Crown Military Miniatures, Gary Green from Warstore Collectibles and Al Green from NJ will be there among others, since the show moved to the Ike, it's gotten much bigger and has a nice, wide variety of vendors.

Hope to see some of the forum members there; this is one of my favorite shows to attend if for no other reason than it's held in Gettysburg, who can say no to a trip there.....................................

Looking forward to seeing you. Can't wait to see the fl Romans.

Ill be at a baseball tournament this weekend so no dice. While the show is a really good time, watching my kid play ball is way more enjoyable than anything TS related.

The forecast is looking pretty good, to be outside, too, Chris.

Prost!

I hope so my friend, I hope so.

It looks depressing right now- he has a game at 7 tonight, 4 and 6 Saturday which will determine the Sunday placings. He then has a game Monday through Thursday next week too!!! Fortunately he will then have a 6 day break as I am very worried about his arm health (he pitches).

The great news for the toy soldier show attendees is that it doesn't look like it will have the bizarre 95 degree, 100000000% humidity issues like it has in years past!! :) Should be a great weekend for a show!

Wish your son good luck from me, Chris!:smile2:

Thanks for your report on the Show. Glad to see you're a customer of George; he's a terrific person.

Got back awhile ago from the show.

Overall, a successful trip to God's country, ie, Gettysburg.

The highlight of the weekend for me was as I left the venue, I drove up towards the angle and the sun was setting and as I passed the peach orchard and approached the angle, the view was just stunning, gave me chills to be honest.

No doubt I want to move down there eventually, it would be heaven on earth for me to live there.

Thanks to everyone who supported me, the show was a good one for me, had a comical moment when I tripped and fell behind my tables, but I was ok, I landed on several boxes filled with thousands of dollars of toy soldiers, all is well..........................I hope to see several of you at the MFCA show this Saturday.....................

We'll be neighbors then. I plan on moving there at some point. Provided I can convince my wife.

Yeah, Stengel doesn't have a website, nor a Facebook page, that we might check, does he? He's always been hard to reach, in any case. I checked at Hoegermeyer's site, too, but he still has only shows from 2017 listed.

Prost!

I have not been to Gettysburg for over 10 years. I would like to plan my trip around the toy soldier show.

I offered to set up and run a Facebook page for the show, was told thanks but no thanks.

I've asked for show dates and fliers to hand out/mail out to my customers, still waiting..................

Like I said elsewhere; Chicago, Hackensack and Valley Forge are the big three.

Gettysburg is a very nice show, great location and a lot of quality vendors.

Thanks for that update with the date and time. I hope I can make it this year.

Walt
