I have been told that you might be able to help me.
Do you know of any listing or do you know how many different Texan figures were made by Trophy?
I think the Ky. Volunteer is the same figure re-done as G C Kimball. Is this correct?
There were 2 Travis poses (in grey and in blue & slightly different) plus two Bowies, a fighting pose & one seated on a stool. Is this accurate?
I am looking for a Davy Crockett from the Old West set and maybe a Sam Houston. Any idea where I can get either? Thank you.

Hi Art

I would love to help you but my knowledge of the Trophy Alamo series is pretty non existent. The only set I have that could be related is set#TX15 – MEXICAN INFANTRY STANDARD BEARER.

Trophy of Texas had set#WW10TT – DAVY CROCKETT listed on their web site awhile ago.

I think that it is possible a lot of the sets you mention would have been specials produced for Trophy of Texas I see that Tommy Allison has contacted you, I was going to suggest you contacting him as he will be the ultimate source for Trophy Alamo info.

I will see if I can turn up any more info at the London Show next month.

Cheers

Martyn:)

Hi Art: You might contact Len Taylor who is a member of the forum for more Trophy Alamo information. Also, before Andy and K&C bought Kings X in San Antonio, Joan use to sell Trophy and especially Alamo so you might call the store and talk to her.

Hi ARt,
I knew some on the board could help, and thinking on it here is alittle more:

1. Davy Crockett mention TT10 - I have that one and yes, it wsa just listed Old West
2. Sam Houston - also another old west and I found I have it.

I do not have Bowie or Travis, so yes those are good ones.

Speaking of KingsX good source for info, I also have a special made for them by Marlborough of Travis. Labeled on the bottom KINGSX by MMM.

SO, enjoy the hunt, there are a number of unique ones out there in Gloss to be had.

I know you also have some of the K&C specials - there was a small line that included Santa Ana as well a few generic Mexicans.

I did see the Crockett listed on the Trophy of Texas site. If it was originally listed as WW10TT I assume that means Wild West #10 for Trophy of Texas. If it was made solely for Trophy of Texas about how many could have been made? I would like to find one. Thank you.
