Alex,
These were made in groups of 50 if I am not mistaken. I really loved these boxes. I have all of them and I wish Andy would come out with some more of this type of set. They were great around Christmas time.

Does anybody know how many of these gifts set were produced. I can't remember if it was 50 or 75.
Pat,
They're the same as regularly issued sets but come with a XM number, which probably signifies Christmas. They've been on ebay a couple of times but don't go for lots of money. Here's a link to what's been issued, http://www.toysoldiersusa.com/cgi-l...ubcategory=SPECIALTY SETS&subsubcategory=WWII
I have the British guard but like I said there's nothing real distinctive about it other than the identification number and the amount issued.
Dear Pat,Alex and Bill,
I am unfamiliar with these gift sets. Can you tell me more about them? What exactly was their function? Did only dealers receive them? Were they available directly to collectors? Since they seem to have a very low production number, I would be interested in knowing more about them. Thanks!
Warmest personal regards,
Pat
