"Gin Gin I Love You" (2 Viewers)

Well, hats off to the USPS for getting this very important package delivered to you, no matter what the weather was dishing out... That must have been your postman I saw hanging on to the back of a snowplow gripping a big brown box. :)

Hi Kenneth. How much snow did you get? The Sun Prairie - Deforest area supposedly got 16.5 inches. One of our grandkids is in Sturgeon Bay which got 33 inches of the white stuff. It was quite a storm.
Mike

I think we only got about 8 inches in the Sauk Prairie area. - How about Door County...that is amazing. Add some wind and you could probably be looking 6' + drifts. Some of those little towns up the peninsula will be hard pressed to dig out of this.

The troops and warriors are standing by waiting on me while I add some additional static grass. Good news though . . . I received notification this afternoon that my March release order shipped today. It should be here by weeks end. This will include my first mounted infantry set as well as another 99th set and an umCijo Regiment Zulu set.

You seemed to have fallen on your feet with the terrain also Mike. I always have struggled to find the suitable look for a Savanna feel being South Africa. Robin.

Thanks again Robin. I find that Woodland Scenics fine turf products work very well for an initial base. I build up from there. I used the fine turf "Earth Blend" on the base which I had painted desert sand with a primer. I've also used a combination of mostly straw colored static grass with a little bit of light green static grass to make the dried grassy areas.

Another Anglo-Zulu War delivery today in the middle of a blizzard that has buried us in 12 to 33 inches of snow depending where you live in Wisconsin. My compliments to our local Post Office and staff.

GGZ-02 Impi Zulu of the uThulwana Regiment, GGZ-04 & GGZ-07 4 Zulu Warriors of the uThulwana Regiment, and GG-106 OX Wagon with Mealie Bags (which by the way is excellently done).

Great pictures 📸 again Mike 👏 I'm glad I'm not the only person who has too much stuff and not enough room 😀. Keep collecting Paul

Get a few more Zulus and Redcoats in the scene and its going to be fantastic.

More are scheduled for delivery this weekend including Mounted Infantry and umCijo Regiment Zulus. I'll be posting more photos Sunday afternoon.

Like you Paul, I've also been collecting for over 20 year's. The older I get the less room I have for my displays.
