Very nice Mike.Conte does really do excellent figures, but it's a shame he doesn't have a regular delivery system as you never know when something's coming in stock.KC and Jenkins have monthly dispatches and their stuff always comes the month it's suppose to.

Very nice photo of a type of scene not often "seen" here on the forum Michael.

Mike - that is one fine piece of work, very simple, but stunning. Really love the severed arm in the sand - that's about as real as you can get. You have a terrific creative sense on the dio board, and I thoroughly enjoy seeing your scenes.

thank you Mark...this set is retired and I was glad to pick it up...I so much want to collect an "Ancients" range...Rome...Trojans...Vikings...etc...

thank you Mike...you're right...I have been on this forum for a couple of years and have never seen these figures...I'm really impressed with Conte's sculpts...

thank you Joe...the bricks were leftovers from my Hirst Art's castle...the iron grating at the bottom is made of wooden dowels painted to look like corroded metal...the arm...I had nothing to do with...it's on the base of the figure...I just brushed the sand around with a brush cause I wanted to show it in it's full goriness in the picture...

I really wish I had done them fighting in a corner section as opposed to a wall section...cest la vie...

Mike, you are quite welcome. I have only until yesterday been able to monitor the forum without participating, but the dio area is what I like to concentrate on. And you and at least 2 dozen other guys on here completely blow me away with creative imagination, photo work, and construction skill. Besides, you're prolific with something new every week or less. It's real inspiring. :salute:::salute:::salute:::salute:: It's worth a four star salute

Great stuff

ty Joe...glad you upgraded to posting...lots of guys turn out some great stuff on here...very cool comment...appreciate the salute...thanks again...

Mike...the figures are very nice and all...but I am entirely focused on the great job you did with the wall, arches, and grates.

Great grates!

Nicholi...you've cast enough Hirst Art's brick to know how easy that was to build...white glue and wait for it to dry...I really wish I had made a corner section...it would have looked a lot cooler...the iron bars are wooden dowels...

now I need to buy some Niena gladiators from you to go with them...the Nienas are gorgeous...
