Great day (2 Viewers)

Martin,

Maybe one day you could download pictures of all of you sets on a cd.

Hi Brian

That's a good idea, something for me to work on. I have all the sets listed on spreadsheets.

Cheers

Martyn:)

Hi Martyn: Very nice sets! Do you have the boxes? Dumb question probably but I was curious as to what they look like. Thanks always for sharing your finds and collection.

Hi Martyn,

Congratulations on adding some fantastic sets to your collection.

The BB sets look brand new, as do the boxes.

The figures look pristine in the neat foam inserts.

The BB boxes show no hint of bumped edges.

What a haul........many more great days to come I am sure.

:)Thanks, Raymond.:)

Martyn: Thanks for showing the sets in boxes. I only have "Lee in the Wilderness" boxed like that. I doubt if there are many out there like you have.

Very nice Martyn,

Britains made large boxes of toy soldiers many years ago. I guess the Trophy BB are the nearest thing we came to them. Unfortunately I think due to cost we will never see those by gone days repeated. A shame really as I think it would be great to open up a box and see these lovely shiny, tiny men staring back at you, what a treat :D

Many thanks Raymond, Tommy and Scott. I do think that having the sets with boxes does add to the enjoyment, that is why I am not 100% in favour of the blister/shell type packaging.

Cheers

Ditto on that, Martyn....Something to be said for opening those big red boxes.

Martyn.
I still cannot see your pics on my laptop,.
I will have to wait until I visit my folks and use their computer.
Looking forward to seeing all these sets though.

Wow! Big boxes indeed..

This entire thread has been a real eye opener to someone who doesn't collect gloss figures. :)

Hi Mike

Just adds to the collecting buzz. Toy Soldiers should be packed in boxes, preferably RED :D
