Seige Artillery would be great, and has been requested before in this Forum, but it comes back to the cost and so will have limited sales.
Consider that what we have been offered by K&C is field artillery, German only, we also onlty get a crew of 3, where in reality it was manned by 6 gunners. Britains does an 18 pounder, but with 4 gunners, and there is nothing else around in matte.
Yes there are some glossy 1/32 scale sets by smaller UK makers, but thats all.
What about other Allied arty, like French 75mm? or thier heavies?
What about German/Austrian Filed and seige?
Still very thin on the ground.
The only really good pieces came from Toy Army Workshop, but alas, the mould went 'down under, never to reappear.
Heavies...well like Obee says, those of us that back 10 years ago could get them are lucky, these days they are rare......
Bear in mind that heavy arty, it heavy in the back pocket/credit card IF its done right, and that means a crew, so consider what a 9" siege gun with 10 gunners would cost, and ask if anyone is prepared to make it, and buy it?
By the way, I was lucky enough to get my TAW 8" Howitzer about 12 years ago, direct from TAW, where I arranged to obtain a full 10 man crew with souch hats, 54th (Aust) Siege Battery.

I agree John.....those of us that have had the chance to get heavies 10 years ago....we are lucky! Too bad nowadays these are rare and if JJK or any other manufacturers can come up with great sets...

Soldiers of the World from New Zealand offers a very nice WW1 French 75mm manned by early or late war French gunners or American gunners. There is also a caisson available and the sets can be ordered in either gloss or matte. I have the early war French set and it is very nice. The gun is very well done. -- Al

Fully agree and regret having sold my early WW1 French Artillery set some years ago!!! As to the US Marines set, I have the garrison with gas masks....and here they are.......

Normally they do not show up at the front and are generally pulling their weight and that of others in the rear...well it took me a while and the great help of Obee to come up with this ALL METAL ....no fancy high tech plastic Steam Tractor paired to a heavy 8 " Howitzer......this baby has just been released for HQ inspection and is bound to the troop ship soon.....The garrison due to some logistics mess up ( mine ) will follow soon.....
I the world of Artillery I figured out that too much had already been dedicated to the light field guns in the great war...so I was fortunate to tap into some sources and get emblematic samples of the great heavies from the British, German and Austrian stock and will with the help of Obee be showing them during the course of 2016-2017.......
