Hi,

I have 2 dioramas I am selling for a friend. They are produced by the same outfit that did the Waterloo Dioramas in the James Bond Movies - The Living Daylights. These would IMO need to be hand delivered. They are really awesome as a scene goes. They are 24 inches by 24 inches (2x2) and the figures are 20-28mm (not sure exactly but smaller size)

A. Rorke's Drift - also inside of all buildings are done

B. Alamo

The cost 20 years ago was in the 1200 - 1500 range. My friend is very open to offers.

If you are interested, I can provide many photos., they are very nice for a room display piece.

I don't have great photos, but let';s give this a shot:

Rorke Drift:

Alamo, not a great shot, has a nice flag too:

The Crusader Diorama SOLD.

Also, I found out the original Pricing:

A. Rorke's Drift was $2250
B. Alamo was $950

Again, if you are interested in these, he is considering all reasonable offers.

As an aside, fascinating collection, he originally had I think about 15 of these ranging from 2x2 to 2x4 to about 3x4 feet. Magnificent is all I can say about them. Most of the Am Rev ones are going to a museum.

A rather large and railroad themed one of the Battle of Vicksburg somehow made it into my collection!!!

Hi, resurrecting an old thread - these 2 Dioramas are still available. I will be in the NYC area for 2 upcoming shows - NJ on Sat. November 6 - Saddle Brook Marriot and Nove 19,20 for the Long Island Show in Freeport.

Original prices were $2250 for the Rorkes Drift and $950 for the Alamo - they are yours for $550 and $300 respectively. I don't want to see them collect dust any longer. Email me directly for more information. Unfortunately I cannot ship these. They made it once from England, but in today's cost, and packing, it would be prohibitive.

Let me know and thanks
Tom

Well in the fastest resurrection ever, they are spoken for and taken!

Tom if you ever come across more diorama’s you wish to sell please let me know.
Thanks Kevin
