Grey Goose display room unveiling (Party at Clive's!) (1 Viewer)

'Educational' may be a little optimistic.

Educational along the lines of public service advertisements: "Don't Drink and (Drive) Play with Toy Soldiers" or "This is your brain - this is your brain on (drugs) toy soldiers". The last advertisement was an American one, where the advert starts with the picture of an egg and followed with an egg being cracked onto a hot frying pan.
Still waiting for the photos ^&grin

Chaps
A great time was had by all and Simon allegedly took lots of photos, kevin pressed the shutter a lot and hopefully took the lens cap off.
I took some but there such big files I haven't had chance to downsize and upload.
I'm on hols shortly so will have to do when I get back.
I'm sure the rest of the guys are as exhausted as I am with all this Olympics stuff going on.
Regards
Clive

Clive,
Looking forward to the pictures. Have a great holiday. Just let us know who won the gold, silver and bronze in alcohol consumption ^&grin

Mark mate,
I offered Clive at Chicago last year to ship him over a dozen real camels from the Territories of OZ.^&grin We have over 100,000 feral camels roaming the Northern Territory in plague proportions, second only to Kangaroos. As a bonus I offered him a half a dozen roos but he said he was only a camel man.:smile2:
Cheers Howard

Aaahhhh.....that would explain the 'night' shots. I thought there was something else I had to do with the camera thingy.

Photos shortly!

Oooookay, first batch from Clive's Figarti display room (yes, he has multiple display rooms, the jammy s*d):

First three show some of the earlier Honeys and a few prototype vehicles, amongst others.

Due to some dodgy gliding, the Horsa clipped the top of the bridge off when landing. It's being dealt with by the parties respective insurance companies.

Awesome display, Clive, and nice photos, Simon!:smile2:

Thanks Louis!
I agree, it's a pretty impressive play room.
I'll chuck up photos of Clive's K&C playroom on this same thread, rather than start a new one. I think there'll be some bits you'll like Louis :)

I am sure there will be, there already has been . . . I have an entire room full of Figarti, and I noticed a couple of Heco Tinplate airfield towers which are also right up my alley, not to mention those beautiful glossies.^&cool^&cool Clive has done himself proud.:smile2:

These photos dispel the notion that you can never have too many camels.

Fantastic collection and thanks for the photos Simon.

And the reason our intrepid Kevin has failed miserably to post anything......

The poor lad was hard at work all day. Apparently he has one of those 'special' cameras that you prop up somewhere and it takes pictures all by itself. :wink2:

Some pics from Clive's K&C&Other play room.

Bit of a bugger trying to get a decent game of pool in....
