The new Rusty Spoons (Pop. 30) is certainly A Growing Town. The Clanton Gang arrived recently by horseback and the Earp Brothers (and their friend Doc) by stagecoach. It did not take long for both groups to cross paths near Cactus Corral. A few members of Calvera's Banditos joined forces with the Clantons and the Magnificent Seven with the Earp Brothers. A few townfolk remained neutral. The town was certainly split and a major gunfight ensued.

Brilliant Rob 👏. I really like how you come up with these stories keep them coming Paul

Not sure what all the horses are doing while the gun fire is erupting. The whole scene could dissolve into chaos at this rate. Rusty Spoons may never be the same again.😀 . Robin.

Thanks much Paul, I'm about out of bullets (at least for the time being).

Okay Robin, from the narrative above: "It did not take long for both groups to cross paths near Cactus Corral."
The Earp Brothers were already shoot'n from the stagecoach. 🤠
Reminder to Self: may have to get those Indians afterall.

Seriously, if you tried configuring TCS's Stagecoach with the four horses, you'd understand and never move the horses again. This ain't K&C. 😄

I think Rob 🤔 you should invest in some Indians and then you could get really Wild Wild West 😜. Paul

Winner, winner, chicken dinner Rob. Another intriguing storyline as well as display. Rusty Spoons is becoming a literal war zone. I am starting to realize that we have similar interests.

You know it, Steve. Thanks. The Lawmen and Clanton Gang sets are also wonderful additions.
Lots of other Western legends both real and Hollywood inspired ones to keep this line ticking along for quite a while.
I guess it's a case of what captures Andy's interest and as we can all see from the many different lines K&C continue to produce, Andy has a lot of interests !

Like the stage coach but unsure about the horses are they same scale as King Country Trevor

Been looking at them. Maybe down the road. Have a few things on my wish list.

Thanks Mike, certainly lots of action in Rusty Spoons.

Wow, that's like our old swoppet set-up but much cooler (and better photographed). We love this sort of thing. But this dio is one of our favorites.

Thanks Pats. Appreciate the really nice compliment. I had to look as "Swoppet" to get an idea of what you mean. I had Marx sets as a kid. Great stuff and I would have loved to roll around the plastic stagecoaches and have shout-outs back in the day. Looks like there's some collectors that still have the pieces in curio cabinets.

When I moved Rusty Spoons to a bookshelf, I thought to myself, how cool. The tan/desert ground really shows off each piece. Photos do not do it justice either.

Perhaps it's the kid in me remenmbering the old plastic sets you mention. In any case, each piece is a treasure and although I know I say it a lot, I truly enjoy configuring the diorama. Wild West is becoming my new favorite theme.

That is really cool 😎 👌

Isaac
Thanks much, Isaac. :)
