Recently received among my pre -orders this cracking little set of Austin Armoured Car crew.

Very pleased with the way they set off one of my favourite JJD AFV's.

Cheers,

Roy.

Hi Roy,

Was just wondering if the Austin armoured car crew figures would fit in the Royal Naval Rolls Royce armoured car?

I was hoping that JJ would come out with a Rolls Royce armoured car in camo colours. There is a famous picture of one stuck in the mud.

I also have these figures on my list to get, but cannot make my mind up on the Austin armoured car. I have always liked the Roll Royce armoured car better. I guess I could always repaint the Naval version, but it seems a big job to undertake.

All the best,

Mark

HI Mark,

Just took a couple of pics for you. Yes they do fit! Obviously though, there is only one opening hatch on the Rolls Royce.

I think the Austin has the slight edge on the Rolls Royce for me personally but if I was to have only one of them in my collection it would have to be the iconic Rolls Royce!

Possibly John will eventually release one in Camo?

Cheers,

Roy

You are making it really hard for me to choose now, Roy!

Thank you for taking the time to set up and take pictures of your models. Much appreciated. Really good pictures too. May I ask what camera you are using?

I think I will be getting both of these armoured cars in the not too distant future.

All the best,

Mark

Hi again Mark,

No problem - glad to help a fellow collector. The camera I'm using is our PANASONIC LUMIX DMC - FZ200.

I'm afraid I don't have a clue about the technical aspects of Photography. I just use the camera on it's Automatic function.

It does do loads of special stuff................. I must learn to how to use it properly one day!

Cheers,

Roy

Just received BGC-03 "Rolls Royce Armoured Car" this afternoon. Found out recently through my primary supplier that this terrific looking model is now sold out and retired. Decided to finally get one before they were all gone. Found one at another retailer. Still have to get the crew member and Petty Officer that go with it. This AFV looks sweet next to my GWB-12 "Austin Armoured Car" and crew. Don't know which one I favor the most . . . . . they are both exceptionally done.
