Just received amongst my latest orders, the superb Poilu St Etienne Machine Gun team. A very welcome addition to the marching Poilus in my French Street scene. :)

Looking good old Bill. I've been wanting to get these troops since they first came out. I got the sets where they're pushing the cannon and really like them. This new mg set looks great. I don't know whether to get the older sets first in case they sell out or get this new mg set.

Congrats on your latest additions Old Bill. This set is on my want list but right now I am concentrating on catching up with the War's of the Roses figures which I started collecting 6 weeks ago. Hopefully by April I will be able to add this great looking French MG team to my Great War collection.

Some heavy fire power moving toward the front. John does this series so well, glad I have collected them. Robin.

Very nice pics of a great looking set. Not a WWI collector, but will probably get this one just to have an example of JJD's Poilus.

I really like the wall with your figures. I collect this range too. I am trying to remember who makes this particular wall.

Hi 6th Wisconsin,

The wall is part of a three part facia I had made by David Marshall (TM Terrain) some time ago for my shelf top WW1 French street scene display. (There is an earlier thread on it if interested.)

The scene is pretty much complete - but it's great John is still coming out with releases that I can add to it. The St Etienne M/g crew and the two Soup men were my latest buys that I thought would go nicely. I'm enjoying it all over again :)

Cheers,

Roy
