Halftrack question (1 Viewer)

Wayne, I’ve had the same issue as well… A little poster tack placed in the hole where the MG’s pintle mount goes and that might hold it more securely.

Mate have the same issue, mine arrived minus one mounting bracket for one of the 30 Cal's. Not a issue and a easy fix.
As for the hole to mount the MG I drilled it to fit, need a pin vise etc. Alternatively you could file / sand the pin down on MG to fit.

I have the same issue with my Halftrack. I used Tacky Wax to hold them in place.

Not a fan of after-market repairs, we pay a lot of money for these items and I get minor damage in transport but consistent faults are a manufacturing problem.

I have to agree, at $375.00, it better be perfectly made, or defects that is so miniscule, a magnifying glass is needed... QRC has to do a better job, it's kinda embarrassing when a buyer points it out, and worse when the manufacturer, does not respond even after over a day of the remark, being in the forum for that time..might need to hire someone that's job is to watch forums for any complains/ remarks.. and make a comment..

Not the case for me, after my post re missing part I received a PM from Ken at W Britain's. I wasn't fussed about the missing part as I could make the part to fit. But Kens response was fast and positive, good service IMO.

Mine also arrived with a broken and bent rear Antennae and Stace at Treefrog has sent pics to Ken heard nothing yet but it is a problem because if I try and straighten it, being plastic it will snap so I await a response. I get they are busy and do not expect Ken and Co. to check the forum every day so as I said await a response, but what is annoying is when they say to post it back for a replacement with postage costs and I waited nearly two weeks for it to arrive in the first place.

Hi Wayne,
You were messaged from this site the same day you commented, unless I did something wrong which is possible as I generally do not use this option. Questions, comments, suggestions and observations need to be sent directly to us here to be properly addressed. I look forward to your communication so we can sort things out for you.

With part of this hobby relying on Internet sales( maybe mostly), it is nice to see how things are going, and if there are any slips or mistakes, that is happening, so for myself, I would like to see it hashed out in the forum, and not kept quiet ,if every buyer just contacts the manufacturer.
Then An unsuspecting buyer, that saves up to buy something, and sees a flaw, that would be unfair won't it?.. and really in the age of the Internet, it doesn't take a whole lot of time to check,if there is remark on the product, each day.. Word of Mouth sells... Or if there is a flaw, it shouldn't..

Never received anything but emailed you thanks.

Ken replied had a great chat all sorted and can not, knock his customer service and I get it the more detail we all ask the more minor damage we shall receive in postage.
