Thanks fellas. That is very kind of you all.

Picked up the Jenkins Thorncroft truck a week or so ago as a purchase on behalf of my wife. I wiill add the K&C Renault when it comes out. Just to emphasise how lucky I am, my wife, who never nags, actually has been reminding me for weeks to buy plenty of TS or she would go into the shop herself. It worries me that if Brett gets her alone she might come home with figures from a 'Women of the Wild West' range or some other ridiculous choice. Picked up a few figures from my parents as well. My wife also got me all the things she feels I need which I do not make time to purchase - new sunglasses, shirts, a new tie from the Melbourne Cricket Club and other bits and pieces. Interestingly enough, there was also five new pairs of underpants. It is hard not to take that personally!

It shows how old I am. She offered to organise a party but at this stage of the year, it is very, very busy. I asked for a night at home where neither of us worked or answered work emails, Chinese takeaway, ice cream cake, some chocolate and a movie. It was awesome!

......I'm very late to this B'party, sorry Jack mate, all the best for the special day and ya night in, sounds perfect!!:salute:: Although the 5x pairs of new man thongs are a bit of a worry ^&grin.....still the offers there for a nice Kiwi made possum willy-warmer mate, just give me the nod and consider it done....{sm3}

Thanks again everyone. Birthday greetings from Poland, the UK, Melbourne, Kingaroy, NZ, the Northern Territory, the USA ... a free gift from the Hobby. In the midst of talk of rising costs, scale problems, paint issues and so on, it is a good reminder of what a hobby should be about. :salute::
